Tony must play a big part in part 2 for them to defeat Thanos so he bargained Tony's life for the stone. I'll be honest, when Tony was stabbed and blood ran from his mouth I was like oh shite, this is it. Tony is gone.

I'll go ahead and be "that guy" and say...this movie shows how great the last jedi could have been, if you don't betray the characters.

Between Ragnarok and this movie, has Thor gone from least favorite to favorite character for anyone else?

In a franchise with such great actors, Chris Hemsworth honestly probably displays the best combination of screen presence and comedic timing.

He definitely improved exponentially. I think almost all of his new image can be attributed to Taika Waititi for bringing out the comedic value in Chris Hemsworth. Then they added his major power boost in this movie.

Originally Thor was as plain as a saltine cracker and it didn't help that his movies while visually appealing were equally as plain.

Another underrated scene was Groot and Captain America being introduced

It’s so fricking close for me. I didn’t know much about comic book characters coming into the MCU and just about all of them have impacted me positively.

But Spidey is 1A for me with Cap being 1B. Which is strange because I liked him in First Avenger but thought he was kind of in the way in Avengers 1. After that, through Winter Soldier, Age of Ultron and Civil War they made him sooo much better.

Having said that, I was a fan of Thor after Avengers, was meh after Dark World but liked him again in Age of Ultron with Ragnarok making him close to Spidey and Cap. After Infinity War I’ll have to readjust my rankings

He was money every time he was on screen. And when he started just fricking decimating Thanos’ army with Stormbreaker I was all in. Makes me curious as to how Captain Marvel is stronger than Thor. Feige said she’s the most powerful. But Thor looked OP as frick with Stormbreaker

I haven't read a single Marvel comic, finally got into the MCU with Civil War as my starting point, have seen every movie now and up until Ragnarok, I viewed Thor as the boring muscle of the Avengers... Ever since they remade his personality in Ragnarok, he has instantly gone to the top for me. Hemsworth is money.

America

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but I was shocked at how little of a role Capt America had in this film.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Thanos, but I'm not putting him up there with the best villains. He was just fine to me.
