Drax was great.

At the end when Thanos unleashes the power of the gauntlet at Thor...Stormbreaker gave no fricks and just powered through all that shite

There was a grown arse man next to me crying his eyes out when Spidey died. You could a hear a pin drop in the theater while everyone turned to dust. After the credits nobody moved for a minute or two. Just stunned silence. Unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in a movie theater

When Thanos stabbed Iron Man it was dead quiet and some dude behind me yelled "frick!"

I have never been to a movie with this much crowd reaction, both good and bad

yeah. complete joy at Thor showing up in Wakanda from entire crowd. gasps at iron man being stabbed. dead silence at peter's death. complete silence and nobody leaving or going for their phones as Thanos sat and looked at the sunset.

i think that's the most quiet i've seen a theater post-movie since the Passion.

in fact, i'd say those 2 movies are the ones that stand out as far as how the audience all had the same reaction.

The fact that Iron Man is still standing would have lost me a good chunk of cash

Guess kudos to them for subverting expectations. The OG Avengers plus Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock still seems a long shot to beat Thanos H2H

So phase four has some sweet opportunities if the Fox merger goes through. Marvel will have doctor doom and galactus back in the fold.

When Tony got stabbed I was like oh frick, cuz i thought he was really gone.

Not gonna lie, I almost shed a tear when Peter disintegrated. That was freaking heartwrenching. He was a kid basically reaching for his father afraid of his incoming death. frick.

Ive seen multple Marvel movies in theaters. I have never seen the theater react like this one. Once the movie ended, no one said a word. Nobody moved. Credits roll in complete silence. Post credit scene comes and goes, the entire sold out crowd gets up and leaves in complete silence. No one says a word. That was so surreal.

The ending with Tony and Peter was perfect. Like they show in AoU, Starks greatest fear isn't dying, it's surviving while everyone around him dies

I like how one of the theories for the soul stone was that Heimdall possessed it. So the directors basically made it a point to kill him off 5 minutes in. They also did a good job of showing off Thanos undeniable strength, by having him making Hulk his bitch in 10 seconds w/o the use of any stones.

So for the Antman movie, Im assuming that will take place during the same time as IW. Possibly ending with either Pym, Wasp, or Lang being disintegrated.

I think you're on point, strange also about faces quickly from the I wont save your life if it comes to that, we must save the stone only to immediately handing over the stone.

This was their only path to victory

I read a couple early reviews once the embargo lifted where they were praising the film, but their one quip was that "there was too much going on/too packed for the length of time of the movie", but honestly, after seeing it, it was packed in a good way. An average or shitty movie, maybe even above average, can become aggravating if there's too much going on, but this for me was one of those movies where I know I missed things the first time through and I look forward to seeing new stuff when I watch it again.

Ragnarok kind of did that for me humor-wise. Wasn't expecting that kind of Thor movie on first watch, but loved it more and more each re-watch. That hammer pulling joke still gets me

Spidey’s death was tough, you saw him as a scared kid instead of a super hero.

When the lights came on my son had tears in his eyes, very upset that Black Panther died. Thats his favorite

Sitting in the theatre watching the credits roll. Good movie not incredible. Didn’t really live up to the hype.
