In honor of the 35th anniversary of the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...

Was there a more epic villain intro than that of Shredder? As a kid, I can't tell you how excited I was seeing this guy in live action for the very first time.

I bought tickets days ago. Couldn’t pass this up. One of my earliest memories was watching this in the drive in. I remember Batman 89 before this. We were born into comic superheros. It’s why Marvel became what it was.

..I couldn't wait to become a teenager and find one of those skatepark /arcade warehouses where you got to pick whatever kind of cigarettes you wanted.

This was discussed in a thread a day or two ago on here. But yes, it's a badass entrance.

It truly was the best time to be a kid. My parents let us go to that at 6 years old. Didn’t blink an eye.
Nowadays do gooder parents would want it to be PG13.

The best part about the foot clan is that it's a cosmopolitan, multicultural operation that's so organic on both planes that it's not even considered woke.

Splinter mimicking his master is one of the greatest scenes in cinema history.

I always forget Japan's #1 ninja moves to America and becomes a baw with overalls, flannel, and a hard hat

A live action teenage mutant Ninja turtles movie had no business being as good as it ended up being.
It was way more likely to turn out like the live action super Mario Bros.

That scene is so awesome. That movie reeks of 90s nostalgia. I rewatched it the other day and i gotta say it holds up

Thinking about taking my boys 16, 14 and 9 tomorrow. They put up with all of my favorites as a kid.
