In my mind, Star Wars ended with the original trilogy. Everything else I try to enjoy as fanfic.

I forgot how fun nitpicking these films to death can be
The leaks make the film feel like an absolute clusterfrick, but it's one thing to read about them on the internet and it's another to see it on film. It may not come off half as bad on film, but it really does seem to me like the ST has no overarching plan

Those aren’t AT-ATs. Those are AT-M6s.
AT-ATs are designed for the assault role while AT-M6s are more fit as an artillery piece.

It's going to be hated by the same group that was going to hate it anyway. Everything points to it being a departure from the known themes and plot lines. This group is going to complain that its too different after spending two years complaining that Force Awakens was too similar.
