I always read how terrible the reunion show was when it came out so I never really wanted to watch it. I am glad I finally did.

It was sad but funny. Sad, because we are all getting order.

I loved all of the behind the scenes footage and the behind the scenes stories on how they selected each character, etc.

Overall it was just very enjoyable watching this last night.

Although I was always more of a Seinfeld fan, I think they did a great job with this Reunion show.

FYI: Friends and Seinfeld exist in the same universe.

• Phoebe's twin sister Ursula predated Friends, and was a recurring character on Mad About You.

• Kramer's apartment was a sublet that he was renting from Paul on Mad About You.

This mean's that Jerry's girlfriend Meryl (Courteney Cox) was actually Monica fooling around with Seinfeld under an assumed name, just to get that dry cleaning spousal discount.

I didn’t sit through the whole special, but I saw clips, where it was clear Mathew Perry was barely even there.

That was tough.

Why? I mean the show was only a huge iconic show in the Untied States back in its days.

It’s not rocket science to want to watch something like that - that’s why Mr. Too Cool for School

I watched it, thought parts of it were good. The saddest part was Matthew Perry. He didn't have a lot of screen time because he was so fricked up when they were filming the special. I think he's sober (again) now, but it seems pretty clear he has some residual brain damage from years of drug abuse. He was on the Graham Norton show a few years ago and it was really painful to watch.

I actually read somewhere that he was actually clean and sober during filming that Reunion Show. That's just how he acts now.

I'm not surprised, I think he has brain damage. It's really sad.

The official word was that he had had some relatively severe oral surgery just before or something like that.

I was more struck by how much they had forgotten. It seemed like Matt LeBlanc scarcely remembered anything.

Also, I was impressed that Kudrow seems to have declined plastic surgery - and, no surprise, even though she's a good bit older, she looks the best of all of them now. I always thought she was the least cute, but in rewatching the show recently, I think she looks great, even back then.

I really enjoyed the reunion when it aired. I was never a Friends fanatic or anything, but I enjoye the show and watched it like most everyone else in America. And the reunion show was a nice trip down memory lane.

IIRC, in the thread about it at the time the consensus was that Kudrow looked great.

And I can remember always thinking Phoebe was hot, but unlucky that her two best friends were hotter (and much hotter). But catching the show here and there nowadays, she looks even better (I assume now because I am older).

And yeah, Perry was a little sad at the reunion. You can tell fame and money did not do him well. But hey, at least he got to bang prime Salma Hayek.

Hearing Janice speak in a normal voice was jaw dropping

Matthew Perry was sad to see and to be honest, Courtney Cox looked like a walking mannequin.

Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc seemed to be the most down to earth after all these years.

She's the greatest 7th character on that show. Love me some Maggie Wheeler.

Maybe as good a job as possible, but very sad. Matthew Perry has abused so many drugs that he seemed barely there. David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and Jennifer Anniston seem a little too wrapped up in themselves.

I did decide that of all the cast, I'm most like to have a beer with Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc. They seemed very down to earth.

I was just thinking last night how Seinfeld has maintained its cultural profile, but Friends -- also a show I never watched -- seems to be fading from the public memory
