Yea, but their contribution to The Crow soundtrack was totally grunge.

Can't Hardly Wait and Empire Records had great 90's soundtracks.

So did Varsity Blues and American Pie.

can't hardly wait and american pie weren't necessarily great movies, but i would say those 2 movies best represent the 90s for the average teen/young adult.

the soundtrack for cruel intentions has to be up there as well.

I love STP and listen to them still a whole lot. Not qualified to weigh in on how "Grunge" they are. All I can do is say thank you to all of the bands mentioned for getting us out of the terrible music the 80's gave us.

Thank you for bringing back that edge, 90's bands!

Thank you!

If not for the Crow, we wouldn't have gotten the later version of Sting in WCW.

That guy had a career before making himself up that way?

Lost Highway has the GOAT soundtrack. Trent Reznor is a master when it comes to creating music. Plus it has Manson, NIN, Bowie, Rammstein, etc.

I always liked the soundtrack to queen of the damned even though that has nothing to do the 90s.
