Jason Clarke deserves an Emmy for this. Damn good!

That you Buster? Did they stretch the truth about you getting kicked out of USC Law?
No. I graduated from a better law school. You sound like an expert. I guess you know everything from watching Netflix "documentaries." The truth is Netflix interviewed a number of people about the specific murders who had an axe to grind with Alex because he had wronged them in unrelated matters (which were not disclosed in the documentary). The Clerk of Court has been arrested for jury tampering. I suggest you do some homework before accepting made for t.v. movies as gospel truth. Start here: Business Insider.
I do believe he murdered his son and wife though. I also believe the investigation was very flawed and very South Carolina.

I grew up in the legal culture of the Low Country and tried multiple cases against PMPED over the years, given Hampton County was a site of pilgrimage. I knew the name Murdagh from the time I was a child.
Note, good old Becky didn't get charged until well after the HBO and Netflix docs were released.

But not how to spell it? You sound like you have an axe to grind, but I wouldn't want to defend a case in Hampton County. Surprised it got to trial.

Did I miss the post where anyone did that? Not even sure what you’re arguing in here.

I've been around some pillheads in my previous life, and in hindsight, we refered to it as running the gauntlet. But I've never dealt with a gallon ziplock bag full of pills.

Jason Clarke is having his everywhere moment right now.
He is in the Murdaugh show, he is on the new Apple show, The Last Frontier, and he is in the new Netflix movie, House of Dynamite.
Dude is all over the place.

Incredible episode this week

Show has been great. Miles better than the lifetime movie.

Jason Clarke is great, and Gerald McRaney is good as the family patriarch. I feel like like every small town has a kid like Paul Murdaugh. Rich kid with all the advantages that just constantly is screwing up.

Love Patricia Arquette. Don’t know if she’s anything like the real mom and don’t care.

Watching episode 8 now, prosecutor's attempt at a southern accent rivals Brian Kelly for worst ever.

Clarke has been awesome. I didn’t have high expectations after the over saturation of the story but this has been a top show in 2025.

Finale killed it (no pun intended).

Rob Morrow from Northern Exposure. He’s from New York and his fake accent was terrible. They could have found someone else to play Waters. Michael Rooker? Walton Goggins would be perfect but this small part was a little beneath him these days.
I read in one of the books about the murders that Harpootlian wanted Billy Bob to play him. I laughed when I saw Jerry Gergich instead.
All that aside, it was really well done. Jason Clarke and Patricia Arquette were excellent. Both brothers did well too. I listed to a podcast interview of Blanca and she was a consultant on the show and told them how to decorate the set for the house. Great show.

You are ridiculous. None of this even entered my brain while watching this. Why can't folks just enjoy something without the nitpicking?
As to the rest of your post, agreed it was well done and a great limited series.

This show was surprisingly great. Jason Clarke gave the performance of the year. He was incredible

I’ve seen this and two different docs on the Murdaughs now. I think I know more about that family than my own.
