Captain Marvel will definitely be giving Thanos a blow, then after he blows his rainbow load all over the galaxy he’ll snap his fingers again and double down. Each successive Avengers movie they will try and fail until he snaps the population down to himself and Jar Jar Binks.

This is Tony's story all the way. Thanos is the same character in the films- 100% sure he is right regardless, 100% haunted by the death and destruction around him, 100% determined to fix it himself. Will not listen to others, even those he cares about, because he knows better.
I have the feeling we'll have all sorts of spectacular battles and CGI, and all sorts of hopeful and confident plans. And Thanos will defeat them all.
And then, he and Tony sit down for a drink (in the Soul Stone?), talk it out, and decide to undo it (and he and Tony leave).
As the others reappear and they start to fade, Strange looks at Tony, and says "this is the way".
The closer we get to this, the more I feel that's the way it goes down. Not sure of the surrounding mess, but while it will be glorious and noisy, it won't ultimately mean anything... unless to emphasize how wrong the universe has become.

My thoughts:
She will be either entirely or mostly responsible for either some of the infinity stones or the entire glove being removed from thanos
Then one or all of the original avengers will team up to kill him

Captain Marvel gets the glove off, Ant-Man sprays Thanos with Pym particles, Aunt May comes out topless and in stilettos, she stomps Thanos to death under her heel, then she pole dances for two hours.

None. In the comics, it took the likes of the Celestials, Galactus, Eternity, etc to go head to head with Thanos. Even they couldn’t take him down. Captain Marvel is nowhere near those levels. Of course, I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I have no idea how powered up they made her.

I hope its Black Widow honestly. Someone from the original Avengers in the MCU but not suspected. I hope she shoots him in the head using one of those .50cal sniper rifles from point blank range with a vibranium bullet.
