At 61 I am guessing parts of it when on 50 times and the full movie 7-8 times.
I'm guessing over 100 times if not beginning to end. Shoot, just in the last few months it's been on my TV 3-4 times since Showtime shows it so much now

I'm going to guess 15. They don't make movies like this anymore.
Agreed. I'm sure it's a bit nostalgia too, but the class of acting and storytelling in the first 2 movies are hard to beat.

Probably like 100 times. Best movie ever.

A dozen? Two dozen? Who knows.

I honestly don't know. At least a couple dozen times, probably more.
I prefer Part 2 though.

Start to finish probably 15 times or so. Portions of it, too many to count,
Same for the 1st two Star Wars movies too.

Once or twice.....that was enough, laid the groundwork.....
For multiple, multiple viewings of Godfather 2.

I wouldn't be lying if I said once every two months. For my wife and I, it's like listening to a favorite song.

None of my children have seen it. For that generation you’d have to break the first two films into ten episodes. Then they’d unironically binge it on a Sunday afternoon. You know, because the movies are too long.

A hundred or more. My now wife and I used to keep it or GF2 on a lot in the background when we were around the house.

0. Read the book though
Coppola is much more talented as a director than Puzo is as a novelist. The book is like a very long Life magazine article -- long on detail, short on style.
And then there is Lucy Mancini...

Once
I can watch and rewatch a comedy 100 times but dramas are usually one-and-done.
Jaws being the exception to that rule.

I have been meaning to… but… zero

A lot of times is all I can say. I can even argue part 2 may be better, because it goes back to their origins.

I have seen the Godfather well over 100 times. I have seen GF2 just as many times. This is my favorite genre of movies. The story, the cast, the time periods, the lessons, the costumes and authenticity of these 2 movies are iconic cinematic art that has stood the test of time.
I introduced the GFseries to my children in high school. My 22 year old son has shown it to his friends to their utter jaw dropping shock of what a real movie is supposed to look like. They all love it.
FYI - I have also seen GF3 about 10 times. I am not a fan of GF3. I didn't find the story to be nearly as intriguing as the previous chapters. The backstory politics involved in the church at the Vatican level is of little interest to me and did not really fit the previous stories.
