Please feel free to add to the content list:

Covid 19
George Floyd
Riots
Tiger King
Hong Kong
Presidential Election

In a time where our way of life is being threatened, this show can at least provide a respite from the madness.

They have disappointed me in recent years, going a bit PC, liberal, and definitely holding back.

They need to have balls again.

I’d really like to see an Animal Crossing episode this season. Starts off simple: all the kids buy Animal Crossing, think it’s gay, and then leave to controller down on their system to do their own subplot. Randy and the other adults pick up the controllers and start going out of control with it repeatedly stabbing each other in the back. Make it somewhat of Wolf of Wall Street parody focusing on the Stalk Market of the game and at one point them killing a player for flirting with one of the animals that the console owner had the hots for.

And make it like the World of Warcraft Episode where they got Blizzard involved. Get Nintendo involved in the episode and have the drama that largely occurs in the game occur on screen with Nintendo’s help. Given how unexpectedly successful this game was during the quarantine, seems like a no brainer episode for South Park, especially given how naturally the game can make you escalate things and ridicule the adults that have been playing it.

I hope they touch on it or have side plots relating to some of it but I feel like recently the episodes more focused on current events have been weak.

Their timing was bad. They will need to make a comeback when less is going on and they can have more of an impact.

I am thinking the first episode will be something intentionally shite like a Terrance and Philip show or the boys talking on a zoom call the whole 22 minutes.

This. I want to see them offend the frick out of everyone again. They have become pussies lately. I hope they don't get so full of shite that they become assholes themselves.

You didn’t enjoy cuck Cartman making a mockery of PC-ness setting up the epic “cum and joke mines of Mars” bit?

You didn’t enjoy the Halloween Special or Mexican Joker? PC Babies? Their absolute roastings of Amazon, China, the NBA, and Disney?

The only part that was really disappointing was the whole troll trace storyline and member berries which was a great premise but never really got utilized.

South Park’s best season (The first season where each episode built on the previous one) wasn’t that long ago, and the decline in consistency since then has been noticeable, but I see no reason to believe a return to form isn’t possible. For all it’s “decline”, the show still consistently spits out great relevant episodes.

I think Cartman becoming a member of Antifa simply so he can bully anyone he doesn’t like would be great, and then by the end of the season he realize he evolved into something even worse than a Hippie.

Cartman trying to rename and cancel everyone he doesn’t like for Token, who not only doesn’t give a sh&t, but tries to speak out against it only to get repeatedly silenced or talked over, would be perfect and hilarious.

South Park has been one of the most, if not THE most - everyone is fair game shows in TV history.

Literally tested Jesus vs. Muhammad censorship.

Member berries is great.

Ppl need to set aside their own POV. SP is going to make fun all of us.

They will subvert expectations and defend ANTIFA and BLM

It's been in the cards for a while with Matt and Trey.

You heard it here first

All of this. Those of you who think they've gone soft, or will go easy on current events, or even flip the script and align with PC and the current culture clearly haven't been watching.
