How dare you sir. Phil was a man of character, do you not recall about him flipping out on his college buddy over a small 10k bribe?

This one time, on a vacation to cali, i was in the car from LAX to my hotel, we pulled up at a stoplight and I saw Uncle Phil next to us in a black benz. It was awesome.

Cliff was an OB/GYN and Claire was a trial lawyer.

The average doctor/lawyer couple with 4 kids could not afford a single family brownstone in Brooklyn Heights.

Heathcliff "Combustable Huxtable" was no average doctor, sir. Dude hung out with Sammy Davis Jr, Dickie V, and Jimmy V. Dude had juice.

There's no way the Huxtables could afford that Brownstone IMO.

Say what?

They were a doctor and a lawyer.

this.

The Huxtables had some nice income coming in. They lived modestly IMO.

First of all, the home cannot be worth that much because in one episode Will asked why if Uncle Phil was so rich, then why could he not afford ceilings? [camera pans up at lack of real ceiling]

To find the "average" salary you should look at the median salary, not the average. Anyway Uncle Phil was likely a top earner and not average.

He delivered all their babies. He was a concierge OB. Where do you think USA got the idea for Royal Pains? Inspired by "Doctor-to-the-stars-wives" Heathcliff Huxtable.
