That was one of the best single episodes of tv I’ve ever seen. Holy shite. The dragon fights were amazing.
One weak point - the shot of Rhaenys falling to her death looks pretty bad.

I couldn’t believe they got Rooks Rest in tonight. I was convinced it was going to drag this season and it would be used as a season finale cliffhanger.
I can’t wait to see how twisted and fricked up they make Aegon look.

Because the writing was fricking stupid and you could see it coming from a mile away.
It's one thing to be outraged about Ned Stark's execution or the red wedding. Those were rational in the setting. You were angry and shocked. You were angry and shocked at believable characters and scenarios.
That's much different than being pissed off at shitty writers.

Why did Rhaeneys not simply go back to Dragonstone after she saw Vhagar?
So her flying away like that and deciding to turn around was all show. It was a “Oh Rhaeneys is a bad arse who should have been queen!” moments that was added in for no reason.

I’m fine with her going back, she’s loyal to Rhaenyra and was asked to protect Rooks Rest. It was likely Vhagar would be there before she went and she was fine with it.
