For real, why is there always one in every thread that seems to just ruin it for everyone else

Rhea Royce was a fascinating character considering her very brief screen time. All we knew of her prior to this episode were from Daemon's commentary. When we actually meet her, one can see why Viserys thought she was a good match for Daemon - smart, pretty, and from a very old and wealthy household. But Daemon clearly hates her because of what she represents - a means of moving Daemon out of the way.

For real, it was like 2 minutes of some dudes on the beach with a little weird wrestling that helped to hammer home a major plot point later on. As far as gay/woke/love scenes go it was useful and tame af. Discussion about a great episode being derailed by this is lame.

We need more wholesome scenes off intimacy like an uncle and niece playing “just the tip” in the middle of an orgy at a brothel

I really enjoyed the opening scene this week, but when Daemon popped up the only thing I could think of was Darth Helmet:
I mean come on

Honestly thought they were trying to symbolize him as Death.

Feel free to add something to the conversation since you've never posted on the board before or make a good suggestion of another place on here to talk about things that happened on the episode in the title.

I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I kept thinking why is his hood not, well, drapey.

Daemon is the only good character in the show. Rhaeny is almost good but she doesn’t see the big picture quite clearly yet and they’re about to replace the actress with a girl who looks like the witch on Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.

The only justification I maybe could think of is it could house his big-arse dragon helmet...but that also makes no sense

For the most part, HotD's costumes have been awesome - Daemon's armor, King's Guard, Gold Cloaks (they look way more-intimidating in HotD vs GoT), etc. Daemon's Vale outfit is a notable exception.

Apparently you did not read anything before posting. I have yet to see one person in here complain or upset that a guy that was gay got killed
didnt say in here bruh, referenced "their" assuming that it would be clear that I meant people OUTSIDE the board.
just the standard bitch about anything and everything sources

The phrase refers to a history in which gay characters have disproportionately died as a plot device
A lot of black actors in a lot of horror movies might have something to say about that.

It would be discrimination to not kill off the gay characters as well. They left 1 alive and 1 dead, sounds like equal opportunity to me

He's already mixed and very light skinned. His kids would be even more light skinned. Shouldn't be hard to pull off. Now if he looked like his daddy, then that's a different story
Yep, all the bitching about black corlys looks even more pointless now. When will people learn to quit bitching about a tv show before it even comes out? Lol

Again for me that conversation covers the part you just said without the scene.
Also the fact he was so determined to find out who her lover was and to confront/approach demonstrates even more because he felt the need to make it clear to Cole what the situation was.
The fact that you made multiple posts about a 5 second gay scene leads me to believe thou doth protest too much.. Do your parents know you're gay?

Same, they know what they want and aren't ashamed of how they'll go about getting it. They actually understand the power they wield as members of the ruling house of Westeros.
The actor is doing a wonderful job, which is why I feel this way, but Viserys annoys me to no end. Such a great job showing what a "weak" King would act like.
Amazing to see Viserys be so different than his own brother and daughter. The gods do flip a coin with each one I guess

When they flip a coin the gods hold their breath on whether they could turn out evil or not. Viserys is a good person, not crazy, being weak does not put him on the wrong side of the coin.
