So run your system and have a season long competition and have 200 girls and have conferences and a regular season and make sure each girl has 30 matchups for the regular season. Even have a play in matchup to see who gets the 64th seed. Yea the board will love that. Because the the college basketball tournament is so flawless that is the only way to rightly determine the seeding.

See, that's where you're wrong. You could compile a list of, say, 50 or so nominees. Then, you have people select a top five from that list. First place votes are worth 5. 5th place votes are worth 1. You take the top half of all point getters, and do it again, with people voting for top 3. Take the top half, or 5, or 3, and have a finals vote.

That way, the top contenders are always playing the entire field, not just one other person. If racist region names are something you think you'll miss, you can just apply them to the individual rounds. "The Spear-chucker Second Round," or something like that. Who knows? Maybe then, one or two black chicks might make the tournament for a change.
