It's such an awesome universe. Yennifer is such a raging bitch though.

Eva Green or Alexandria Daddario would be perfect for the role IMHO.

Is there a reason that they named the character after Geraldo Rivera?

It’s Geralt of Rivia.

Most of that in game world draws from Eastern European lore (primarily Polish).

Triss is just a Geralt fangirl witch in the books. Very minor character that mainly provides for the occasional revenge sex fling when Geralt gets pissed at Yennifer.

If there's not a unicorn scene, I will be thoroughly disappointed.

Hmmm...she fixed it.

Yeah he went after the job like a boss. Dude is an avid gamer. WOW would do well to include him if they ever continue their series

I only just started reading the books, Triss is mentioned but I think she only meets Geralt in the games.

They meet in the books, Triss just isn't a main character like she is in the game, though she does play a decent role from time to time in the series.

Henry Cavill is my man crush. The guy is a hardcore geek too. He said he missed the call about being cast as Superman because he was playing video games at the time. He has mentioned in interviews that he is a big Witcher fan as well so if makes sense.

I don't know who this is but his name sounds like perfect casting for this show.

I don't hate either of those castings visually. Not really familiar with much of their acting though.
