No, I meant it.

The actor portrays him as some kind of intellectual. But he doesn’t carry it.

It feels fake.

And he doesn’t come off as tough either.

He’s wonderfully unimpressive on all counts. The terrible script is a problem though.

I saw an episode or two of the Punisher. There were things I liked about it, and it felt better put together than Daredevil.

I have not seen the third season though.

Ciri's actress looks like she's 10 years old.

Effete

quote:

1 : no longer fertile

Dude is a man whore. Good thing TV shows characters have the best birth control ever aka plot convenience.

quote:

2a : having lost character, vitality, or strength

No, no, and no.

quote:

b : marked by weakness or decadence

Again, no unless you are counting an addiction to vigilantism as a mark of weakness.

quote:

c : soft or delicate from or as if from a pampered existence

Nope.

quote:

3 : effeminate sense 1 having feminine qualities untypical of a man : not manly in appearance or manner

Are we even watching the same show?

I know Geralt only rocks the beard on Witcher 3 and not the books but it would hide Cavill’s face. My biggest issue is the actor that plays Yen is only 22 and won’t look like a mother figure to Ciri. It will be more like an older sister relationship than a mother daughter relationship.

I think you’re getting Daredevil confused with another show

He looks like a cross between Legolas and a Targaryen.

I guess we have to talk about Triss now LINK

quote:

Netflix's The Witcher TV show has cast Anna Shaffer (Harry Potter) as Triss Merigold, a talented witch who is both an ally and love interest for Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill).

quote:

Born in London, Shaffer played the infatuated Romilda Vane, who kept trying to slip Harry love potions, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, reprising the rise in The Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2. She also has a long-running role in the British soap opera Hollyoaks, and appeared in the Doctor Who spinoff series Class.

They can. Who knows they may chase the European audience, game of thrones audience with no show anymore, and the gamer/book audiences all at once.

I’m tired of this adaptation already. Guess I’ll go back to the Witcher 3 when I want my Witcher fix.

They do but they sometimes turn it down after the first season. Like in Narcos.
