Daredevil is pretty good.

Yea, this is the thing I'm worried about with her. She does look pretty young.

This will be some low budget CW b.s.

Cavill's not working for cheap. Then again, his salary might be half the budget.

Well I'll back track on daredevil even though I haven't see it. And The Punisher on netflix was good.

But still. I'm not convinced this lady won't frick this up.

Watch Predator, and then watch an episode of Daredevil.

Which one exemplifies heroic male values?

And on a separate note - which one is better written, better cast, which one is funny?

Daredevil exemplifies this soft modern man that Hollywood is selling.

I don’t understand how someone like her ends up running shows like this.

Is it simply a question of money? This is where networks are investing their resources, so that’s where she chooses to go?

The source material doesn’t appear to interest her much, just look at how it’s turned around to sell, as you put it, a social justice ethos.

Hollywood is one of the most clique'ish, nepotistic industries on the planet.

Who you know, who you suck up to, and who you suck off are more important to getting jobs than any amount of talent is.

Truth is, this show will not last more than a season or two. The source material is too niche and Netflix simply will not spend the proper budget on it to do it justice.

The person who brought up those low budget CW teen dramas was spot on. Everything thus far gives out that vibe. That's what the show will end up looking like.

With a proper budget and respect for the source material's tone and theme, the show wouldn't have been damned to its likely fate.

It’s the way they depict their heroes.

Daredevil is incredibly effete. And it really stands out when you watch something like Predator.

Predator is also really well written, unlike Daredevil. Netflix has really poor writing teams.

They usually spend the money on actors but they either can’t find, or don’t care, about good scripts.

Daredevil s3 is better than the Punisher.

I think the Ciri casting is great considering what the rumors were suggesting. The Yennifer one is terrible though. If they wanted that look then they should have went after Emmy Rossum who is an older more attractive version of this girl. Rocketeer Jennifer Connelly would have been perfect, but alas...
