Had some good parts and nice throwbacks. Only thing I could think was this is Caddyshask II with Sandler and company.

May be but will still watch, the concept outweighs the content

Watched the first one a few days ago just because it had been forever. Definitely holds up. Love that movie. Made me want to go back and watch all of Sandlers early stuff.

Not expecting much from pt. 2 but...

Was expecting to be disappointed. I was wrong. They absolutely crushed this legacy sequel.

The early reviews so far have been "it was fantastic" or "steaming pile of shite." Nothing in between.

Great call backs. Cameos. Redemption arc. Tragedy. Nailed it.

I have to ask. Does Lee Trevino have a cameo?

I really enjoyed it. Didn’t want it to end.

without spoiling too much the script is a love child of candy shack II, happy Gilmore and dodgeball. I enjoyed it for what it was. It’s Adam Sandler so you somewhat know what to expect. Just kept thinking I’ve seen this story before. Not a direct ripoff but highly sampled.

Watched earlier and it was fricking terrible. No reason for a sequel as most predicted.

First half of the movie I really enjoyed, second half... I just wish they wouldn't have gone overboard on the "other league" spectacle.

I wish it would have been your typical golf course against the rival golf league.

I thought it was a great sequel and enjoyed watching it with my daughter who was a fan of the original. It's obviously for fans of the original and people in-tune with pop culture.

Great sequel. The golf shite was ridiculous but other than that it really delivered.

It was a little ironic that the plot revolved around beating an alternative golf league given that half the golfer cameos from the “regular” tour were from LIV lol.

It was slapstick with a bunch of nostalgia. I enjoyed it.

“It was fantastic” is likely from guys that loved Happy Gilmore as teenagers like myself. “Steaming pile of shite” is likely everyone else that is too old or too young for it to be nostalgic. Personally I thought it was going to be terrible due to the trailer. I enjoyed it thoroughly, but I can see how others wouldn’t.
