The new Haunted Mansion movie is actually pretty good.

Muppets Haunted Mansion is really good too.

Probably, but she's a candy arse. She made it through OG Ghostbusters I and II and didn't get scared.

It's been so long since I've seen Beetlejuice that I can't remember how much scarier it is. I know the library ghost and the hell hounds from Ghostbusters scared 8 year old me.

Mr. Boogedy has already been mentioned.

Your daughter might like the 1986 movie "The Worst Witch" (not the TV series with the same title).

The first Harry Potter movie would probably work too.

This will get downvotes but you’re right. The new Haunted Mansion just dropped on Disney plus. That and the Muppet one are great.

My kids are in that range and they’ve already watched it 3x.

Be careful with Beetlejuice. I watched it with my kids 2 Halloweens ago and forgot the rating difference between then and now. He curses in the movie, maybe even an F word, and has hookers on his arms at one point. It might be worth checking in on it before showing it to your little ones.

There's a Shrek/Monster vs Aliens halloween special on Netflix that is funny. Dreamworks Spooky Stories, I think?

Same for Toy Story of Terror. It's probably on Disney+.

We also like the old school Daffy Duck Quackbusters compilation. It's got two of my favorite cartoons, Dr. Jekyll Mr Hyde with Tweety and Sylvester and the one where Sylvester stays in a creepy house with Elmer Fudd and the mice keep trying to kill them.

We also watched all of Stranger Things last year in October when my son was 9, but he likes scary stuff.

What about Transylvania 6-5000? I remember seeing that as a kid and thinking it was pretty funny.
