I'll just save you the heartache, not happening. It's not even close. Maybe this post will encourage some people to come running in and saving the day, but just eyeballing it it's getting doubled up or so.
Fantasia is one of the most critically acclaimed animations of all time. It's going to be tough to beat.
If it makes you feel better, I think WALL-E is far, far inferior to Princess Mononoke and TSITS, so that crowd will likely see The Sword in the Stone get it's receipt here and lose.

I don't understand why people cannot comprehend this. If the rules at the very beginning stated that "you must vote for the movie that is technically and objectively the better piece of film making", that would be one thing. We were simply told to pick our favorite as long as we've seen the movies in question. Period.
I saw Sword in the Stone and Mononoke and the Sword in the Stone heavily influenced my interest in the King Arthur stuff. I saw Mononoke in middle school or high school once and never saw it again. My age and maturity level at the time probably didn't allow me to appreciate it, but that cannot be undone until I see it again (which I have not). Therefore I picked Sword in the Stone.
A bunch of fgts in here have really come unglued over this stuff, and it's glorious to watch.

I’ll bring up Akira here while we are touching on this.
Akira is visually great. Unfortunately, the cut most of us have seen is the dubbed version from US theaters which is chopped to shite.
If I had the time to sit down and watch the subbed version I’d probably agree it was better. Unfortunately, the dub suffers between cuts and having to fit 10 pounds of Manga into a 5 pound movie, meaning a lot of “WTF did I just watch?” if you aren’t versed in the story going in.

It's been incredibly entertaining to see a number of posters complain about shitty movies winning round 1, then they continue voting for the shittiest movies left on the ballot.
Robin Hood is going to walk to the Final Four, which is fricking embarrassing given that it represents probably the lowest point in Disney animation history.
