Any insight you give in the book thread leads to spoilers, otherwise what's the point of your posts? You've read the books so you can't speculate you KNOW.

The show is eventually going to catch up to the books. GRRM just needs to tell the show's creators everything he has planned and, hand in hand, they need to develop scripts to cover all of the plot points of the final, yet-to-be-published books.

Well, as the books aren't finished and some of the questions being asked in the show thread are still questions in the book, then why can't we speculate about things we in fact DO NOT KNOW? I agree that if the answer is known no one should respond with the answer disguised as speculation. The problem is even if we aren't giving spoilers but commenting directly on the show without any refernce to the boks we are still attacked because some people are paranoid.
