Thats what I thought, so breaking the wheel has nothing to do with bloodlines and pure blood kings, etc. that was my point.

Then you are Aegon / Cersei

Tyrion said this in the same conversation.

You can't rule with fear as your main weapon.

In that case, are there other dragon eggs out there?

Good question. The three eggs were found in the shadowlands petrified. Which begs the question on if there are more?

It would require someone with crazy desire for power to go searching for them though.

In the books there are some. Euron claims to have found one but threw it into the ocean in a drunken rage. A popular Crackpot theory is that Euron actually gave it to the Faceless Men and it was his payment for killing his brother Balon.

Not wanting a spoiler reply, but: how likely is it that the Crown doesn't fully buy into this story?

So they bring a zombie... Cersei and Qyburn might say, that's nice, how did you get the blue eyes, ours has black eyes?

And I could see Bronn cracking up a bit when Dany recounts the death of Viseryon. Say something like "come on, I was the one that shot yours with the scorpion, and I got a clean hit. And all that did was piss it off. I thought with Tyrion involved, you'd at least get a better story together than THAT".

Didn't Cersei say in episode 6 she was sending Euron to go buy the Golden Company?

The probability is low but with a caveat. I'll leave it there.

I'm interested to see what the overall reaction to this episode will be. The high points of this episode are great, but there is some ammunition for those who have arguing the show has been declining in quality.

Idk i disagree. The scenes/dialog in between the white walker stuff were pretty high quality for this season.

NK having a dragon is a game changer. Will Bron or Jaime use the scorpion with a dragon glass arrow to kill it? We've seen visions of a dragon's shadow over king's landing maybe it's dead Viserion and not Drogon. Also it was strange they showed Drogon flying at the wall but not Rhaegal.

Serious question- if you're Dany and you just saw what you did, do you send word to Daario? Call in backup, or at least warn him about what she's found?

I mean, you'd think this would be relevant news across all of the Free Cities and Bay of Dragons, etc... Danaerys Targaryen, who spent her teen years raising an army of a hundred thousand Dothraki, a full order of elite Unsullied, and several dragons to invade Westeros and reclaim her family's birthright, has called that off within a couple of months to instead go fight something coming out of the North; and she's even openly appealing to the current ruler of the Red Keep to join in and lend aid. That would have to be an "oh shite, are you fricking kidding me" moment to anyone who hears it in Meereen, Braavos, etc.

Oh, I still think the show is great, and I've argued that it hasn't really been declining in popularity. In fact, I think this will be in the discussion for the greatest show of all time if it sticks the landing, and it is my favorite.

I believe that people have been excessively nitpicking certain aspects of the show for a few seasons. Now, I've argued (and still do) that it is mostly due to the show's popularity and the fact that it has passed the books. There are some people who clearly want to look down on the show. However, while I think people are way too quick to throw around terms like 'teleportation' and 'plot armor', this episode definitely had some aspects of both that I have some trouble disputing with a straight face.

I can understand that but then you can hit them with the fact that they literally brought you to the brink of thinking Tormund was about to die. He was essentially about to be pulled down akin a scene straight from Aliens LOL.

Then when it looks like all hope is loss he is saved and later on rain of fire down on everything.

Good question.

The only forces left on Essos is the Golden Company and occupational forces to make sure the free cities do not fall back into slavers rule.

Cersei will buy the Golden Company I think...

So it really comes down to how much of the free people of Essos believe the NK can cross an ocean.

Well now that he has a dragon he can. He can also raise another wight army south of the wall from every battlefield and cemetery he comes across. Not to mention the catacombs below each castle. Imagine Ned Stark coming back to take Winterfell and then King's Landing.

That is very true. He can technically conquer all of Westeros down to Dorne then isle hop at the stepstones with Viseron.

frick Essos needs to wake the frick up. SOUND THE ALARM!
