Qyburn is very similar to his book counterpart, and may be slightly worse. Qyburn was a member of the Brave Companions, which features serial child killers, monster clowns, pedophile priests, and other classy gents who go around randomly mutilating the countryside. The Brave Companions are replaced by Locke and the Boltons men in the show.

I thought Jamie took him prisoner and said he was taking him to The Rock during the sacking of Riverrun when The Blackfish bit it. He used Edmure to try and take Riverrun without bloodshed but The Blackfish was having none of it. Jamie had to bail the Freys out again because they suck. Well sucked. I'm glad the white trash of Westeros are now dead.

I think that's right, too. Jaime made Edmure a deal if Riverrun surrendered. Edmure was supposed to be taken back to Casterly Rock where he might be allowed to meet his child.
He was probably moved before the Rock fell. We don't know where; maybe Kings Landing.
