Which is true, which is why Bran needs to spill the beans.
By the way, did anybody notice how quick Sansa told him "You're the Lord of Winterfell"? Meanwhile, Jon is the King and is trying to get shite done in the South that could SAVE THEIR frickING LIVES

I can see that happening too because Cersei still despises him for killing Tywin and for their mother's death in childbirth. Jaime, on the other hand, doesn't hate Tyrion at all and I think he's going to reach out to him.

I meant Jon might still be a bastard if Rhaegar and Lyanna never married. If this is the case then he's not eligible for the throne.

Does there needs to be another thread for those who have read the spoilers?

Well it's not like Bran couldn't go back and see if they were married. And Jon already wasn't eligible for the throne, they still chose him as king.

Jon - "So can you explain this three eyed raven thing to me?"
Bran - "You looked pretty on the night you were in the cave"
Jon - ...

Targaryans historically had multiple wives.

Rhaegar dies at the trident prior to Jaime killing Aerys. At that point Viserys would actually become the King with his brother dead.
But Jon was already conceived before Rhaegar died, so the claim can be made that Rhaegar's heir was in play before his death. The line of succession is not clear, as far as I know, in this instance if Rhaegar and Lyanna were indeed married.

They were still "allowed" to have sibling marriages because that was their custom, so I don't know why anyone would be able to deny them having plural marriages. Heck, Aegon conquered Westeros with is sister wives, so the whole dynastic rule was setup under that marriage.

i'm not sure how many times characters have to say "it doesnt matter" before viewers really understand that "it doesnt matter"
the great houses are slowly but surely being exterminated...if the ending to this story is a return to feudal dynastic monarchy then why introduce the others in the first place?
i dont have any clue how this is going to end, but i can see whats being set up...somebody earlier mentions that there really arent very many "heirs" left, and thats on purpose in my opinion

I think only 2-3 Targaryan kings took multiple wives. Most of them had one wife at a time (though multiple mistresses).

A couple of lines from last night's episode that I felt were extremely powerful that don't seem to be getting much love:
Melisandre: "I've done my part, I've brought ice and fire together."
I got goosebumps.
Dany says something like: " People always enjoy doing things that they are good at"
Jon: "I don't".
There's the those goosebumps again.
