I wouldn't say they're lightly dressed. They were lightly dressed in Essos. They have sleeves now so it's obviously a little colder at Dragonstone. I also believe them being high up overlooking everything played a part in him wearing the parka. It was obviously windy.

Really looking forward to seeing Jorah see his father's sword in Jon's possession.

Oh yeah. I understand some level of paranoia about Drogo, and I'm willing to accept a lot for the sake of good storytelling.
However when you step back and look at the logistical issues with Drogo getting his 100k man cavalry over to Westeros then waging a successful extended campaign against a (mostly) united realm, it just doesn't add up.
For example, Euron's "greatest fleet in Westerosi history" is 1,000 ships. Even if Drogo raised his little penis off to hire that many ships, that still means 100 men + 100 horses on each ship. That is if you aren't going to bring any camp followers. That also does leave any room for actual war ships, which means Robert probably could have just sunk the lot of them before or while they were landing their forces. Plus without infantry there are whole regions of Westeros where the Dothraki simply can't fight.
Again all of this is me being hypercritical to make a point. I am willing to accept it for the show, but it does create some inconsencies about Robert is so scared.

I think Tyrion will try to ship an alliance between Jon and Dany next week seeing as how the Vale now has one of the strongest armies still that can oppose the Lannisters and that they now support the North.
Also, the North still has a fairly large army I think. It's not huge but probably combined as much as the Unsullied I would think. Anyways, I bet Tyrion pushes an alliance, possibly even a marriage.

The Jon+Danny marriage has always been their most efficient move. He (and I guess Sweet Robin) are the two most eligible bachelors on the continent. There really isn't any other alliance for her to make.

They need the vales cavalry the most I would think. It's the one thing Danny doesn't have heavy cavalry. From a military perspective it doesn't matter how many dothraki she has they wouldn't stand a chance in hell against lammister cavalry in full armor

I've always read the dothraki as basically the mongols: nomadic horse people exceptionally skilled with the bow and unstoppable when supplied and in climates that suit them.
The mongols would've conquered all of Europe had it not been for their leaders dying twice at critical junctures.
I see the unsullied as almost an elite Greek phalanx or Roman legion unit. Best suited to close combat, but with weaknesses if not surrounded by other complementary units (archers, cavalry, etc).
Given their strengths, to separate the two is madness unless you are just sending out the dothraki to disrupt communication, raid and steal supplies.
Add in Dornish/Highgarden knights, supplies from the Tyrells, air support from dragons, plus the threat of Jon Snow in the north and I don't see how the Lannisters aren't beaten and annihilated easily in any kind of open combat.
Thankfully for the Lannisters, Tyrian has again shown he is worthless from a military perspective. She will need Jorah or Jon as a military commander because no one else in her court has shown any indication they understand combined arms or military strategic command.

Jorah seems comfortable with the choices he's made and has never seemed like he has a desire to return home for some birthright.
Also, when Tyrion and Jon were talking on the cliff, he said he believed Jon because both he and Jorah had talked about seeing the dead. Did I miss-hear that? When did Jorah see the White Walkers?

Think he was talking about Jeor Mormont not Jorah

That makes a lot more sense.

He was talking about Jorah's father, Jeor.
Anyone else wondering why Cersei hasn't said much about Littlefinger helping out Jon & Sansa?? I thought she'd want him dead too. And I'm a little surprised Olenna didn't name him as her accomplice unless she wanted to take full credit for killing Joffrey.
I know some people on here think Jaime won't redeem himself at all, but think about how he's in an abusive relationship. It's hard to leave it and that's all Jaime has known for his whole life. I think a lot of people can relate to being in an unhealthy relationship and having fear about leaving and the consequences/fear of the unknown. The seeds of doubt have already been planted and I think Olenna's confession and final parting thoughts will be nagging at Jaime from here on out. Nikolaj even said recently that he understands why fans are frustrated but that you can already tell this season that the wheels are turning and that Jaime is having a harder time trying to rationalize and defend Cersei as each episode occurs.
At this point Jaime knew Tyrion didn't do it but now he has official confirmation. I could see him reaching out to Tyrion now IMO.

His plan was actually a pretty damn good plan. How was he supposed to know that Euron would surprise attack his fleet? Hell, he didn't even know who Euron was before Varys came in and told Dany about what happened with Yara and Theon.
Also, he's the reason that Stannis didn't take King's Landing at Blackwater. So he's not totally worthless as a military leader.

I mean there are a couple of significant differences. The Mongols actually had a set of laws that allowed them to effectively rule over and integrate conquered people. The Dothraki seem to have basically none of that.
Tyrion won the only battle where he had any form of command prior to this, and I think the bigger issue is how Varys and Yara seem to completely miss a 1,00 ship fleet sailing around.

I wouldn't call their relationship abusive. Jaime just has a severe thinking with his dick problem.

Jeor (his dad) sent Allister Thorne to warn them. He arrived in KL while Tyrion was Hand.

Why? If her older brother had a son, I would think he would be in line before his aunt.
