Agreed. And as much as I want to see Dany wreck shite, Euron do badass and treacherous Euron things, etc., I can't help but cringe at every death as each one is lessening the human's chancess against the WW and in the war to come. However, I can see the game of thrones lasting until episode 6 or 7 of this season and by that time, it might be too late.

I think Jaime will see things in exactly this way, realize that Cersei has no long-term hope of holding the throne, and by fighting tooth and nail over every inch, she's further harming the chances of defeating the Night King. I think Cersei will take out a dragon, and this, combined with understanding just how valuable they will be in the upcoming war for survival, will be the straw that pushes Jaime to stop her.
"You can't win, and all you're doing is killing us all"
I've wondered how Jaime would learn of the Night King, and a thought occurred to me: Tyrion.
Tyrion is going to be privy to the news that Jon and Melisandre bring to Dany, and I could imagine that he would try to appeal to Jaime to stop the madness; those two were close and I could see them communicating. Bronn might be an intermediary, or it could be during a formal meet (if Dany doesn't want to burn the Lannisters out, she will have to present terms of surrender... and there'd be chances to meet).
So figure an episode or 2 for Jon to convince Dany (and Tyrion),
an episode for Dany (and Tyrion) to appeal for KL to surrender for the good of the kingdom- Cersei says "frick off",
a couple episodes of Dany making insurmountable gains while Jaime confirms this new intel of the threat in the North,
and the finale, Dany stepping up on the final thrust at KL, Cersei taking down a dragon, and Jaime ending it (and her).
This is just a guess on my part, I absolutely don't want to find a spoiler. But I could see it going this way.

I don't see Cersei joining with Jon and Dany, short extraordinary proof of WW and NK.

That's why I say Jaime has to kill her.

Couple of random questions/thoughts:
- So I guess we're not gonna get a super strong blackened arm Jorah after all?
- Have we seen Bronn at all in the first two episodes, even in the background?

Maggy the Frog's valonquar prophecy almost assures this. Tyrion's not going to literally or figuratively kill her. It has to be Jaime.
Especially now with Arya apparently heading back North (although I think she has to link up with Sandor at some point - not sure, but I've always had the feeling those two would team up to end the Mountain once and for all).

Bronn hasn't been in S7 yet. If I remember correctly, I don't think he showed up until E7 last season when he and Jaime took the Lannister army to the Riverlands, so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him until later this season either. I doubt they're just going to not have him show up at all, and he did some pre-season interviews with other cast members a week or two ago.

Got a question, do y'all hate Greyworm on principle or do y'all just hate the love story they conjured up with him and Missandei?
You gotta hand it to him, he's a pretty damn good fighter. I just wish they would stick to that and not give him his own storyline with Missandei.

It can be a ton of other people besides Tyrion or Jamie

60 pages in this thread and this is the first anyone has mentioned it

I don't mind Grey Worm. He just has no depth and I get they are trying to add that depth by introducing his love story with Missendei. But I honestly don't care about it and it actually makes his character even less likeable.

Honestly, I just get annoyed wasting time on Grey Worm/Missandei stuff. Just like with Sam/Gilly scenes.

When they were messing around, I was looking at my watch even with the gratuitous nudity.

I just don't care for the love story. As individual characters, I'm don't hate or strongly like either one.

Missandei doesn't bother me but Grey Worm's character is tiresome.
Nonetheless, I think their love story adds a necessary facet to the story.

I don't get this at all. I understand that for a work of this scope - 20k pages or whatever, with literally hundreds of characters - translation to screen requires compromises. Composite characters, compression of timelines, reduction of sets, combining/eliminating duplicative storylines or cul-de-sacs. I get all that. What I don't get is when they waste precious frames on stories that are completely alien to the source material AND don't advance the narrative. There is little reason to develop either Grey Worm or Missandei's character. They're extensions of Daenerys - and little more. In a way, because of their slave background they're supposed to represent freedom from bondage and provide some commoner viewpoints on things - most POV characters in the novels and main characters of the show are Highborn, notably excepting Varys, LF, Bronn and the Cleganes (other than Grey Worm and Missandei, of course). And Bronn isn't a major character in the novels - his prominence in the show is largely due to the popularity of the character, not his actual relevance to the overall story.
Much as Martin and to a greater degree the show tries to "dirty" them up some, Brienne, Theon, Asha/Yara, and Arya are all Highborn.

but i'm pretty sure grey worm is going to bite it this season and the scene was included to give it some impact...it won't work, but that's what I suspect.
