As I've said, his best option would have been to massacre Jon and his army instead of saving them.
There's no way the knights of the Vale would have done that. The moment he gave that order is the moment he loses complete control of the Vale army.

It was the sand snake strangled by her own whip
I see, well theon abandoning Yara doesn't seem quite as bad in that case.

I think it's more feasible than it seems on the surface. As far as they are concerned, Jon Snow was a treacherous Lord Commander of the Night's Watch who used it let the Wildlings South of the Wall for his own personal army. From their point of view Jon is a Oathbreaker with an army of rapists.
As soon as they secured Sansa, I don't think it's all that unfeasible that they'd willingly turn the sword on them, possibly sparing the Mormonts men.

This season will end with the death of a dragon and Night King bringing down the wall. Bookmark it.
Or the Night King and his army can walk around the wall at Eastwatch.

I think it's obvious that in the show none of them care whether or not he broke his Night's Watch oath.

I do think the Wall is more a magical barrier rather than a physical one. Once the Wall breaks, the dead south of the Wall will rise.

I saw it from a youtube video. Guy showed that the shivering sea is frozen during the Intro of S7.

Royce should. His son was the one killed in the opening scene of Season 1.

It looks like it's just ice for that one scene but it's really not. The very next scene reveals it to be clouds/fog.

He still declares him king in the north. Since they seem to believe Jon that the White Walkers are coming maybe they believe the story that he came back from the dead. Plus there's no news that Night's Watch is after him which also indicates that he didn't break his watch.

I dunno. At Hardhome, it seemed like the Night's King had to do a gesture (raising his arms) to bring the dead back. Of course they could have just put that in for effect.
I'm trying to remember other instances where the dead came back. There was the one who went after Jeor Mormont that Jon burned with a lantern that was actually south of the wall. And I'm blanking on others.
I don't know if the NK has to be close to the body to reanimate it or if he has to concentrate to do it or what. Or if the other White Walkers also possess that power.

I just hope Brienne gives it up to Tormund before he dies.

No chance. She's into pretty boys.

Tormund is about to kill Jamie and she kills Tormund. She loves Jamie.

I'm worried from the pre-season trailers that tormund is going to die at eastwatch. that scene with them in a circle... my dread for him was reinforced by him being so cocky and confident about Jon sending him there. Tormund to the lords of the north, "I guess WE'RE the nights watch now." i didn't like that. Seemed cheesy. i thought Tormund would've had something more intelligent to say. he's not your average free folk.
