I wouldn't be so sure about that......

Keep in mind the Targs were noted for polygamous marriages. Baelor the Blessed married all three of his sisters.

Even if Jon Snow is a "bastard" as King in the North he has the power to legitimize himself just like Roose did to Ramsay and Stannis offered to do to Jon.

Is the reason we haven't heard from Bran due to they want to set up the marriage before they all know what's going on?

I mean it's only been one episode without Bran. I'm not sure we should start drawing any conclusions about why he wasn't in this episode.

We saw Bran in ep 1.
I meant more the fact that there's no raven from the Wall regarding Bran.

Why do people think Jon will be immediately submissive to Dany and bend the knee right away? That would be a huge slap in the face to the Northerners and to his cousins.
I think Jon will want to see how Danny is and if she can help him in the war to come before deciding if he needs to bend the knee or not. I could see Dany being a huge bitch though and calling Jon and his family the usurper's dogs.

In no way do I see Jon immediately bending the knee to Dany

Because Danny has so far had relatively thick plot armor, and any number of people who could have/should have told her to GFY fall in league with her for no particular reason.
Also Jon is obsessed with the Night King, if Danny promised to go all in on that fight he would probably do something stupid without Davos there. The most logical thing for both of them is to tie the knot and unite their respective crowns through their children (again ignoring the Danny infertility issue right now)

The Night's Watch just let in 2 stragglers, one a cripple. They aren't fighting the Free Folk, so they would let any human in; this doesn't immediately mean they accept his story at face value. "Hey Jon, some kid just showed up from the other side of the Wall claiming he's your little brother, you know, the one that Theon burned alive a few years ago". (I doubt Sansa told EVERYONE what Reek said, and even if she did, Bran was south of the Wall).
You have to check that shite out before passing it up the chain. Very few might know who Bran is, and those that do, would not take it kindly if this is a hoax.
So that means: Meera Reed. You can check her out without risking being hung for pissing off the new King in the North, so I think that's the avenue you take. Discreetly. Which might mean we see more Reeds...

My guess is because he needs the dragon glass and her dragons. She has no idea about the white walkers and is still fixated on King's Landing. If bending the knee gets her to join their cause against the Night King then it would be worth it. He just has to convince her that ruling the 7 kingdoms isn't priority right now.
Side note, anyone else have the feeling that Olenna might have secretly tipped off Euron? Her priority is killing Cersei, which is why she was telling Dany to be a dragon. fricking up Dany's plan might get her to finally attack King's Landing. Just a thought because Olenna really has nothing left to live for except seeing Cersei get killed.

Baelor was freaky AF.
And people on here question why any person in Westeros has reservations with backing another Targ on the throne.
On a more serious note did anyone else think it was weird to see Bran Warging out without touching a tree root in the opening episode? Was he warging into an animal?

Freaky in that he didn't bang any of his sister-wives and locked them up in a tower before starving himself to death?

If he bends the knee the Northern lords will crucify him. And he definitely knows that, so he won't be kneeling.

Well she is hot and has three Dragons. People going out of their way to help her may be the most realistic part of the show.

Does he always have to? We've seen him warg without touching a tree before. I'm not exactly sure how it works.

After losing her fleet, she severely needs Jon. I dont think its as one sided as you believe.

I think Tommen legitimized Ramsey.
