Losing all of Dorne is pretty YUGE not to mention the captain of your fleet and a significant number of ships.
I mean she is far from done.

She didn't lose her fleet. The rest of them are gone to Casterly Rock(sp?) with the unsullied. She really doesn't need John and John can't afford to fight a war right now because he knows that impending doom is headed south of the wall.

Side note- I notice the Hodor thread only has 4 pages. I don't see the point of that existing anymore, at all.
Technically, I'm a Hodor, because I didn't read the books. But as far as I can tell, everyone's speculating on things now, because the show has out-paced the books. I come to this thread because readers may have more background to suggest a direction (certain things, like the dragon horn, are unlikely, because that should have been mentioned as soon as Euron showed up. Same for Lady Stonehands or whatever the dead Kat is).
So if I speculate on some pairing up of characters, and a reader says "no, in the books they are mortal enemies", then that helps me out.
If you absolutely don't want back-story or other info, why even post online? People always spread what they know, and you risk spoilers (at least things you missed).
And BTW, all this talk of who's killing Cersei... what's the solution for Ser Gregor? 2-handed Jaime may have handled the Mountain, but this one doesn't die to wounds, does he (he's already "dead")? I assume Drogon could do it
, but that's not an assassination attempt. I'm guessing evil Maester can since he made him, so maybe Jaime squeezes it out of him.

Giant dragon killing crossbow ain't a bad anti-Mountain weapon.

The leaked scene synopsis for 7.1-7.6 has me freaked out.
I know some fricks on this site will intentionally spoil, especially the ones not watching the show that know about the leaks, but hate GoT.

I am hoping that wasn't a spoiler...

Yes. It may be wise to avoid reading "predictions" for a while.

About the quality of the writing or the situations for characters?

His posts have been very a suspicious. I've been glossing over them.
That shite makes me so mad that people think it's funny

Of people leaking it in this thread. And the HODOR thread. Book readers won't know spoilers anymore, only people that have read the synopsis. An admin needs to take one for the team, read the spoilers, and police this board.

This would delay the troop movements, but likely galvanize the populace against Cersei even more.
I suspect the next step would be to locate Euron's fleet and have a repeat of what happened to the Slaver's fleets; a dragon air strike.
Wonder why, if Yara was forthright about Euron (and she was), they didn't have air cover like they did crossing the Narrow Sea. Maybe Dany needed their help, but didn't trust them that much.

I have read absolutely no leaks this season. The idea of using a giant crossbow that was just prominently highlighted in the last episode isn't really a huge revelation.

She lost at least half and her fleet captain. Also, Dorne's forces are now stuck in Dorne which diminishes her numbers.

Who leads those armies now though? Ellaria allied with Danny for revenge for Oberyn (even though he fricking volunteered for that fight). Is there a good reason for any non-Martell noble to ally with Danny other than the three dragons?

Biggest what the frick question about that whole deal. Would have been easy - and she would have also still had two dragons with her.
