I thought the House of the Dead scenes were very well done and that the book readers are just being bitches about it. Literates gonna litter... Daeny back into badass/entertaining mode, the dragons tearing shite up, locking the black fella and his woman into his empty vault...
The issue readers are having is the content of her visions on the show was completely different than in the books. I enjoyed it within the context of the show and the path it's taken though.

Call me crazy, but I just hope they find a way to work interracial cuckold porn into the story. That'd be a hoot. Fingers crossed.

we don't know that it wasn't. there were no iron islanders laying around dead and it's plausible that they burned it down and left in some back way. the whole scene was very vague.

Dude. I've read the books, and you are being a dick in this thread. The way to treat this thread is as if the books don't even exist. Just let them be. There is a whole separate thread for us book readers.

So you're saying the people that that were supporting Stark broke off and burned down Winterfell? That doesn't make sense unless they're suddenly fighting for Joffrey. If they were suddenly changing sides in favor of the Greyjoys, there would be no reason to knock Theon out and turn him over to anyone.

Yeah, I can understand clarifying some things that are a little confusing, but Tom appears to be explaining things that us retards should have no business knowing at this point in the series.

Books are always better than screen renditions. It is still awesomely entertaining television. Isn't that what matters?

Oh I agree. They've remained as true as they can within reason and budget. I've certainly enjoyed it. Was just relaying as to why the readers are upset over it (if anyone was wondering). At least for me it wasn't the quality of the scenes lacking or anything like that. It was pretty well done IMO.

Twenty men weren't going to, or even be able to, completely burn down the fortress.
Why?

They delivered Theon to the men outside.
His father would kill every one of them when they returned home.

The castle was then burned down by the Northerners led by Ramsay Bolton who were supposedly there to retake Winterfell.
I think they're chasing the Iron Islanders, who burned Winterfell on their way out as a diversion.
And no, I have not read the books. That just makes the most sense.

NO it's NOT. The show does NOTHING to tell you who burned it down.
Please, have just a little bit of respect for those of us who only care to watch the show and through its processes find out what happens. We don't care for you to drop your hints here and there.
Get the frick OUT!
