Oh, you motherfricker...that is a straight up lie and you fricking know it. "All my problems"? Weren't you posting in the Hodor thread a week or two ago and trying to guide nonreaders along?* And I bring it up because you clearly post in the nonreader thread, when you're supposed to be in the reader/MG thread.

No, I haven't gone in the Hodor thread. That's the point. I've only posted a comatose Drogo image there and to call you out for your bullshite. You may be thinking of some other GoT thread that you walked in and readers and non-readers alike were posting in, but I have stayed out of threads labeled "HODORS ONLY" for 2 years.

And I don't know much more plot developments than you do or did at this point. Stop pitching a fit every time you see me outside of these 2 threads posting about this show. I haven't spoiled jack shite the past 2 seasons.

* if that wasn't you, then I'll back off a little on what I said. But I think it was you because I remember us having this conversation a few weeks ago...or was that in a different thread (I know we had that argument)?

It may have been a different thread, but I have only done 3 posts on the Hodor thread this season, none of which had anything to do with GoT plot points.

I understand that some of you don't like me when it comes to Got...I get that. But at least have the balls to not sit there and talk shite and straight up lie about shite. It's weird..I don't have a problem with you on any other topic, but with GoT, you fricking suck.

I don't dislike you on any other subject but this one Coco, but just realize that this time next week, we're really on the same page.

Doran is very anti-war and very pragmatic. He's not going to do something drastic and bring his country into war.

That shite was like 20 pages ago. Let it die, but not in the Ironborn sense.

This was in the Reader thread, but is safe to be seen by all. I certify it as spoiler free.

How did Doran become paralyzed? Battle, born that way, accident?

I looked it up and contrary to what a lot of people think, snakes do have bones and are vertebraes, so Red Viper's former slam piece was incorrect when she accused him of not having a spine. You would think she would've known that, being from Dorne and all.

Seriously though, does it tell how he became cripple (without giving away any major spoilers)?

He's not paralyzed I don't believe

He just has extreme gout or something that makes it hard on him to walk

Tomaytoe toemahtoe

That does answer the question I guess, other than the issue of semantics.

Gout is caused by eating a lot of fish and other things. It's a diet related illness.

That reminds me of Bobby Hill going to that restaurant in the mall and eating there every day and getting gout

A friend of mine is pretty frugal and health conscious. He was eating grilled fish pretty much every day and developed gout he was like 25 years old at the time.

Gout is known as the rich mans disease and dis caused by overindulgence in several things. It's news to me that one of those things would be fish, which I assumed would make one healthy.

So in the books do Beric and thoros sacrifice people and use leeches and such?

if not, it really paints melisandre more like a snake handling westboro baptist church member of the lord of light.

if thoros is resurrecting mf'ers without doing those things could it be that he is just more of a "chosen one" type character?

then again, i guess old vag magic did birth a smoke monster assassin. so she does have some kind of power and she does seem to have premonitions (like with ayra) about people but maybe it's been mentioned on here that they are vague and she misinterprets them.

basically if i was raised by parents with this religion i'd rather go to thoros' church over the red lady;s.

I think Thoros is the more powerful, but D&D gave up on him I think.

Rondo is a Hodor right? I thought so, he just pays attention. That Stonehog guy is a douchebag.

One of the "idiot hodors" who doesn't pay attention to anything.

that's a shame bc i really liked him as a character but i know they abandoned a certain storyline where he was involved so i guess he's editorial damage.

I know rondo. He's not a reader.

I'm not sure how to answer the Beric and Thoros question, but as to Mel, her powers are real. In the books, she knows that Davos is coming to kill her and he's arrested right after he gets to Dragonstone. She also gives Stannis the power to see the future in the flames, which is how she makes a believer out of him.
