As much of a cold-hearted, unloving douche of a father that Tywin is, I admire his military prowess and his bluntless/calling things as he sees it.

He sat out Robert's Rebellion, until it was safe.
Has been defeated on the field of battle by the Young Wolf time and time again.

I'm actually depressed that there isn't an episode tonight. Is there something wrong with me?

Also, the Bolton's clearly know that Bran and Rickon are alive, but no one seems to have told Robb.

What have the Bolton's done or said in the show to indicate they clearly know that Bran and Rickon are alive?

I understand in this book this is absolutely true but I'm curious what gives this away in the show? Maybe I'm missing something.

Yet, to our knowledge has not ended up on the losing side of a war.

Well, we know the bastard knows from Theon telling him. That said, Ramsey =/= "the Boltons"

Good point, the show has been quite ambiguous about what happened during the sack of Winterfell. We don't know if what the bastard has done is with his father's blessing/knowledge.

Yeah, I don't get the love for that cocksucker. He comes in on a sneak attack after everyone is beat down and dead with Blackwater, he lies to the Mad King and sacks whatever village that was , and he's just an old grumpy prick. Tyrion, meanwhile, actually fought bravely and nearly gets killed by Joffrey/Cersai. Tywin takes Tyrion's position and throws him into a basement as his new home. And then for added measure, makes him marry a 14 yo against his wishes.

Yeah, he's so cool and a badass

Can't wait to see that Thug POS get his

As I've said before, according to the show (all vague "hints" aside), the viewer has no idea where Theon is or who his captor is. I only know because of this board.

I think that the viewers should be able to figure this out. I remember back in the LOST days, we would have picked something like that up in a heartbeat. I'd say it at least makes it easy to figure out what house has him, even if you don't know the Bastard has him.

This thread was anchored in its first week, but Coco Damphair got it resurrected.
