They address rent/money issues all the time. What show are you watching?

And she's addressed the race issue plenty of times and she gives a good answer.

I'm sure his bat signal will go off soon.

My wife finally stopped watching it after the atrocious episode last year where hannah slept with the guy whose house she kept dumping the trash at.

Glad I don't have to watch that junk with her anymore.

All of those issues have been addressed in the show.

True or False: The show would be better if Alison Williams and the fat chick switched roles?

This show really brings out the shallowness of a lot of people. How dare they have an unattractive female cast as the lead!

It is a comedy though right? And I did point out that she wasn't funny right? This isn't a drama. It is a comedy (allegedly). She isn't funny. And she isn't attractive. And none of the other characters are even in the slightest bit redeeming.

Thus, there isn't really any reason for me to watch it. I don't think I am being unfair with my assessment. I didn't call anybody any names. I just said that I don't get it.

I'm pretty sure they dropped the comedy label after season 1. It has its funny moments but it's never been an all out comedy.

It's not a comedy like Eastbound & Down is a comedy. It's more like a dramedy.

If I had to choose I'd pick Girls over Eb&D.

At least Girls is smartly written

Then I really have no interest in it. If I want to hear a bunch of depressing arse women complain about their lives I will go and hang out in the kitchen at work during lunchtime.

It is smartly written because the critics and people that supposedly know what is awesome have said it is so which means it must be so.

Dude we get it. You don't like the show.

Plenty of critics hate the show.

And my favorite writing on the show comes from the dialogue between Hannah and her parents. It captures the massive difference in their generations quite well.

The number of people who complain about how terrible the characters on Girls are yet have never voiced the same complaint about the characters of Breaking Bad is remarkable.
