I don't know anything about you other than you like batman v. Superman so it's not a stretch to imagine that if someone slaps a logo on a box that you'll probably eat it up

I'm interested to see where it will end up on IMDb. It's currently at a 3.5, although I'm betting many of those people haven't seen it.

I'm not interested in the reviews though to see roeper to give something THAT bad of a review raises an eyebrow, but I don't make my decisions on roeper. The only reason I'm not going to see it is because I don't know a fricking thing about it. I've seen 1 1/2 tv spots.

What was interesting was the director's response to criticisms that I don't think are unreasonable. It was just internet chatter and now it's a thing. Most interesting is that Sony seemingly hasn't really put a lot of dollars into marketing. Is it because it sucks or because of expected backlash?

I'm glad that 1,564 people giving it a 1 rating are getting called out.

I'm disappointed that the 523 people giving it a 10 rating are being glossed over.

We should go through RT and find all the great movies that aren't rated as good as this movie.

Unless I am missing something, I feel like they have advertised the shite out of this movie. There were tons of commercials during the NBA playoffs. Although, it's weird how many commercials are about the movie, but use various celebrities to be Ghostbusters instead of using the actors from the movie.

ETA: Somehow I missed the post above me.

I've come to the conclusion:
If you've ever use the phrase "SJW", it's a pretty safe bet you're an a-hole.
If you use the phrases "alpha" or "beta" and you're not referring to the Greek alphabet, it means you can't get laid.

Disagree with the first, agree with the second

SJW is precise whereas dipshit can describe so many things

Again, like any "online" poll or service...I fully expect the extremes of both sides to spam the hell out of the ballot box.

nothing to see here.

This is wrong.

Before "SJW" went mainstream, it referred to a very specific type of person who behaved in a very specific manner.

If you decide to see Ghostbusters this weekend, go in knowing that there’s even more where that came from. When Collider’s own Steve Weintraub sat down with the film’s director Paul Feig for the Ghostbusters press day, the filmmaker revealed that he already has an extended cut of the movie locked and loaded for home video release. Now this doesn’t sound like it’s a director’s cut per se, just a longer cut of the movie, but it does include a significant amount of new footage mined from a very long version of the movie that existed in its early stages:

“The editor’s first cut was 4 hours and 15 minutes, and I trimmed that down to a slim 3 and a half hours (laughs). We generate a lot of stuff and I always wanna have all the underpinnings of a big, emotional story, and because of that it just added a lot of extra scenes that as you’re going through, you know you have to make a lot of choices because I knew I had to bring this down under two hours. You just start weeding and saying, ‘What do people want to delve deeper into and what do we wanna just kind of skirt through and get to the fun parts?’”[

The IMDB troll wars aren't as bad as I thought. Compared to TFA, it's actually pretty tame.
