Seeing a replenished Dothraki unit is just silly. If you wanted the spectacle of the lights going out fine. But don't renege on the consequences.
And let's be honest, the only reason they showed those 4 or 5 come back is so that Jorah wouldn't be the only survivor.
I got the point that some survived. It was all that was needed.
These are the types of complaints that make me believe some of you actively look for things to complain about while watching.
It's silly.

Because a bunch retreated in the beginning of the war against the white walkers.
And they must have retreated to the secret Mr. Ed horse stable because there was a shite load of them leading the charge.

did y'all really need a scene with Davos telling Jon that exactly 457 Dothraki survived? is this what y'all wanted?

has it been discussed that Cersei must have been planning to burn the city herself? Pretty clear there were caches of wildfire all over
I'm just jumping in the thread so idk if it's been discussed but it seemed to me like they were just leftovers from when the Mad King built up the stockpiles. So it comes full circle that Dany blows the last of it up

??? That would be just as stupid. We saw only about 4 survive.

Yea, I assume that is what it was as well.

He flirted with redemption but ultimately he's still who he is. He still loves his sister. That was his arc.
Exactly. He straight up told us/Brienne the previous episode. I kept rooting for him to kill Cersei last night, then actually felt sorry for him when I realized how whooped he was. I thought both their deaths were perfect.

Did it me er occur to you the one snippet of about 4 retreating was not all of them? That was a huge battlefield and in that one little screenshot we saw a few come back. Did you really think that was all that wax left? Even when it was said that 457 survived?
Let me guess, you were also shocked that Danny went nuts and torched Kings Landing, right? Didn’t see it coming did you?

i need to rewatch this show to see if i'm justified in how it's become terrible. but i'm still angry this morning.

Did you just take his post for what was said in the
show?

You can't be serious.

I called this weeks ago that this is going to rival the TLJ melt on here because it has the same formula for that. Beloved franchise that people are invested way too much in, so when major events conclude they are going to go on social media and shite all over it.
Yep, and for exactly the same reason. The story didn't go the way they've been personally building it up for years, so they lost their shite.

The only way you didn’t see her decent into madness coming, or the fact she was capable of incredible cruelty and outright genocide means you’re either totally incapable of of recognizing foreshadowing or you’ve just not been paying attention.

Isn’t that exactly what she was doing?
Are people seriously melting and being nitpicky about Arya’s actions??
“Man this is dumb, Arya killed the NK but looks scared running around a city being torched”
“Well what would you have her do?”
“Well umm, she umm, could’ve ummm”

okay?
I was referring to you assuming you know what I think.
Which is funny because just an hour ago I was defending that point. She was always going mad.

What exactly did the whole Night King story accomplish? None of that even mattered.
Not defending it, but I'm guessing it was more to get characters together (specifically Jon and Dany). If there was no Night King, then they probably would have never met.
I know most aren't fans of plot devices, but the Night King and the White Walkers were the only reasons we were led to ever care about the Jon Snow character. If those threats didn't exist, then Jon would have gone to the wall to live out his days and die staring off into nothing.

Dany goes Mad Queen makes perfect sense.
The execution of it was terrible though.
I don't really see how that makes people "bitching to bitch".
They slow played eps 1-2 so they could speed through the rest of the season?
Entertaining television, the writing is terrible though, you get rid of the CGI this season and you're left with nothing. That's not the essence of GoTs. There weren't even Dragons till season 4.

Apparently, on reddit, some guy found GRRM tweeting in 2013 “this guy gets it” in response to this blog post:
If true - this confirms it was GRRM’s plan all along and makes some posters in this thread look retarded.

Where is Yara? Wouldn’t she be there to help Dany?
They explained at the beginning of the season that she was going home to take back the Iron Islands in the event that Dany and co. needed a safe place to retreat back to.
