3 blades in play next to the NK. They had already shown Jamie and Brienne neck deep in corpses at in the castle.

Yeah I agree. The episode was a letdown but I guess it had to be this way

Favorite part was when half the main cast were surrounded by white walkers 45 minutes into the fight.

Then 45 minutes later they're all still alive.

Fun episode, but good lord that was shitty writing and could have been done alot better.

You’re with me on this. Littlefinger’s Dagger being Lightbringer defeating the Others through Arya is insulting as frick for people who have read these books.

was it a letdown bc of the ending, or was everything wrong about it?

Arya killing the NK makes sense for a plot point. She's a trained assassin and all. They built the army of the dead for eight years now. It all should have worked. It was executed well on screen. It should have been easy to love. Yet, I'm left having it feel just a bit hollow.

I think Arya killing him could of worked, but you didn't give anyone else a real shot. NK barely fought Theon, if you could even call that a fight. Craster's kids did absolutely nothing but visit Winterfell.

What was the whole purpose of the NK’s vendetta against the Three Eyed Raven? Why did he want to kill Bran above all others?

Guess we’ll never know but hey Arya leaping like a spider monkey to kill that dumb NK was fricking awesome amirite boys???

More major characters should’ve died

You still haven't shown where Bran can even warg the dead. So your point is moot.

Why do I have to show it. He WAS CLEARLY worging and stopped at once with a look of complete confidence.

He could have just worged the crows and Arya recognized it and followed them to the right spots and times.

yeah, no chance it plays out like that in the books

We just have to be content with the show for now, and be pleasantly surprised if Martin gives us the real ending before he dies.

appeared there was pretty much no army left besides the main characters as well. Be interesting to find out how much of the army is left.

Brienne and a couple others should have died.

I expected the Starks, Lannisters, and the Hound to live for plot reasons.

I do agree more characters should have died. I’m sure that we still get either a Jon/Dany death and a Tyrion/Jamie death but we should have gotten more tonight

Maybe he didn’t want to kill Bran? Why walk in and surround a dude in a wheel chair? The dead refused to attack Bran during the initial assault.

I can't get over how bad that scene with Arya sneaking around was. Tens of thousands of dead in an all out assault on Winterfell. And then they're carefully tip toeing around a dark part of Winterfell in a game of cat and mouse. There was no noise from the battle?

Well said. After investing more than 11 years it’s just kind of like meh they won great. There was little consequence besides Jorah and Theon going out heroes at the conclusions of their story arch. They’ve taken a show that blurred the lines very well and always delivered the unexpected and turned it into The Fast and the Furious:Westeros.

There’s no doubt that the “good guys” will triumph in the end.

I agree with the poster who compared that scene to the velociraptors in Jurassic Park. Very tense and suspenseful! Not sure why you’re hating on that scene.
