Did you miss her entire conversation with Melisandre?
no i heard it.

She emphasizes "blue eyes", asks her what we say to the god of death,
i kow what she did. This "prophacy was intended to just tell how she was going to be a faceless man and kill abunch of people. DandD decided to use it for this as well, which is stupid.

asks her what we say to the god of death,
So how did she know the question Syrio wold ask her. kinda convenient she would know to say that to spawn super Arya.

It is not difficult to understand. I understand what they did. Im saying it was stupid.

Expect the NK would have never let himself out in the open like that. The only reason he was left vulnerable because he was trying to kill Bran.

i have only one issue with what went down, and it is this. when the NK broke into the wierwood root cave, he immediately went straight for old man max and stabbed him in the chest...no standing around, no leisurely stroll, no menacing stares. and at that moment, the NK was in zero immediate danger

here, he's exposed himself to danger (dragonglass & valyrian steel) for one reason, to kill bran. THIS is the time he decides to take a victory lap?

Because the red women know things. The red woman who was in Mereen knew what happened to Varys and what the voice in the flames said to him

So if it’s in there, a place I can never go, instead of doing other things to help me achieve my mission, I should just sit there?

if i am immortal and has a basically infinite army of undead..... you can do both at once.

Also just to be clear, if Jon and company don’t go north of the wall to capture a wight to present to Cersei (most retarded fricking storyline ever), then the Battle of Winterfell never happens right? Night King just gets stuck jerking his dick north of the wall for another 1000 years I would assume

One of the most symbolic scenes last night was Jon and the dead dragon. The dragon kept him from going where he wanted to go so he ended up yelling in frustration.

Foreshadowing for his Targ experience?

GRRM told them how it ends.

Not a single ounce of me believes this is true. I don't think GRRM had a fricking clue what was happening after the end of his last book. And he sure as frick didn't have an outline in his head that he handed to HBO. That's really not how many fiction writers write. They tell a story and it evolves as they put it down. They don't have an ending in mind and then try and get to it somehow and even if they do they often arrive at a different one as they write.
Respectfully, I doubt that's the case. I'm pretty certain fiction writers "know" how they want things to end, at least in a general phase. That's what actually drives them to flesh out the story all the way through. They may say things to fans to the other end, but I think that's just to keep fans excited about the divine inspiration aspect- "It isn't MY story, I'm just writing it down".

Martin almost certainly knew who was going to be standing at the end, when he signed the deal with HBO. He might tweak a character or two, but wasn't going to completely change the story outline.
What probably happened was that he was beginning to struggle in the "filling in the details" part, and allowing the series was basically bringing in a lot of writing help to color it in. They'd create rough drafts, and he'd pick and choose which ones best fit his vision.

Not immortal

Army was not infinite, and he needed to grow it

And had he posted up, he would have been sitting there waiting, forever, for no reason

What was the point of all of Bran? I sure hope he has some payoff at some point. Arya could've just snuck past the wall and stabbed the Night King at any point in the past few seasons

He didn't really take a victory lap the scene was just slowed down to build tension. In real time the NK probably took a minute to kill Theon and get to Bran

D&D in the after show said that they choose Arya because Jon would be too easy and started molding her character arc three years ago...

Not to mention if this has been brought up but in the same show the director said the NK had to be stabbed in the same place he was created.

Well Arya didnt even fricking know what a wight or WW looked like until tBoW let alone she had to hit the NK in a specific place.

All while jumping 75m and doing ninja shite only Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon fanbaws would be proud of.

Most of you complainers probably still gripe the entire time on a trip and then bitch about the scenery when you get there. There just is no pleasing some of y’all.
WTF are you talking about? Season 1-7 were great. great ride. great journey. then we get this? how hard is that to understand.
