would not surprise me if the Cersei/Gold Company story is a red herring of sorts and it falls apart quickly and violently.
no question

i'm of the belief that the situation with the WWs won't be resolved on a battle field
Oh I completely agree.
But that doesn’t mean the characters wouldn’t still think their best hope was uniting all the armies to stand against the dead together.

also there is an assumption in the "reuniting" theory that requires a lot of plot armor and characters surviving, which happened in the show but i'm not sure if it will happen in the books.
Fair enough.
GRRM certainly has an itchier trigger finger than the Ds.
I could see some characters dying in the books before the stand against the WWs, although not sure any of the Starks or Lannister’s would have, which were the main reunions last night

I mean, he named the series A Song of Ice and Fire, not Game of Thrones - it should be pretty clear to see that’s what he wanted from the start
No I get that GRRM planned it from the start. I’m just saying he may have regretted that once he was into the later novels. I certainly wish he hadn’t.
And ASOIAF doesn’t have to mean Ice King vs Dragon Queen.
It’s also just the story of the Starks (Ice) and the Targaryens (Fire). First Rhaegar and Lyanna, then Jon and Dany.

What does any of that have to do with Danny? The Tarly’s were just an opposing force to Danny. She executed him. He may have deserved a death (although she had no way of knowing that) but Dickon surely didn’t deserve it. All because of her ego of wanting them to kneel. Tyrion tried to get her to spare Dickon and she refused.
The comparison was to Jon. He has never done anything close to that cold.

And Sam left the citidal to go right to the fight.

I know because the kid just murdered him.
How can you not see the difference.

But I mean honestly, who cares about those two idiots? They had the chance to live and they didnt take it. What good would it have done to not kill them? They refused to serve her in front of everybody, I guess she was supposed to carry them around in chains or release them and they go back to serving Cersei. Who cares, they were two idiots. Everybody else there was smart enough to kneel.

Got a link to the video? I'm not seeing anything resembling this, unless you're referring to the video that you have to pay to view.
It was free when he did it live. I guess to see the replay you have to pay. I watched it right after the episode ended.
That dude is rolling in some cash. People were throwing real money just to maybe get a question answered. Prolly made a couple grand just in tips from that live stream

For murdering him and betraying his oath to the Night’s Watch.
He’s also shown mercy when appropriate. He’s not flawless, but I don’t think Sam’s wrong in that Dany has a touch of her line’s madness to her if she’s not held in check.

I’m not being a moral compass. Just saying Dany is less forgiving than Jon. Sam isn’t wrong.

Dragon orgy??? I must have missed that.

Different upbringing. Jon had Ned as a father. Dany was raised by her brother then sold to barbarians
