They can hash all that out later. If that's what happens in th show then Sansa has only learned enough to be a Cersei clone and I hope Arya does knife her.

So the Night King needing a dragon to destroy the wall may actually fill in some plot holes. It could explain why the White Walkers have been waiting all this time, and it may also explain why they surrounded Jon and his group instead of simply throwing spears at them. However, this only works if the Night King has at least some similar abilities as Bran, which it seems that he does.

Yeah, I'm thinking the Night King can see what dead people see and if Cersi is toting around a dead Mountain then the Night King has an in. Under the assumption that everything Cersi knows / says in front of the Mountain, the NK can also hear and see. So, if Cersi knows the reason for the meeting at the dragon pit is to capture a white and present it to them then the NK knows to set the trap before Jon gets there. So Jon sends Gendry to send a raven while they are in possession of a white, also letting the NK know to just sit tight until queen B arrives with her dragons. This is my theory for now!

I'm sure this has been touched on, but: potential Night King armies.

North- these bodies are sitting in the cold and snow, it's basically like being in a freezer. They should be good to go.

Stannis/Ramsay battle scene- I don't think they burned any bodies, Ramsay might have flayed them.

Jon/Ramsay battle scene- we all assume Jon would have the bodies burned, but that would have been a horrible smoke and stench, right? We didn't see that, so it's possible.

Is Howland Reed dead? And if not WTH has he been doing all this time and will he be needed to put the final stamp on Jon's identity?

I was talking about this earlier and I feel like he absolutely is going to have to come forward to prove to people that Jon is who they say he is. It is a well-known fact that Reed was present during the fight and one of the only survivors, his word will carry a lot of weight especially with northmen.

Also in reference to the Gold company. I don't see any way that they don't either a. join the side of Jon because of his lineage or Dani for that matter. Or just completely ignore the threat that will destroy the entire world. I know the Ironbank only operates on the premise of getting gold but unless all of the commanders in the golden company are complete idiots I don't think it will just pan out as them marching north after the night king is destroyed.

Also let's talk numbers. Between Dani's foreign fighters there is what 40k? The Army of the north according to Sansa is 20-25k, and Jamie may bring some loyal lannisters, 2 k wild frickers, misc maybe 5k between a few houses. So maybe 75k total plus 2 dragons. I have to believe the dragons will thin the herd quite a bit in the beginning of the battle, obviously the night king will do that with a lesser effect with one Dragon. Even if they take bad losses they could still match Cersei with what she has left if the GC isn't on board. What does Cersei have left? Maybe 20k GC and what 7-10k Lannister and misc?

Not to nitpick, but I have a hard time seeing the GC support fAegon in the books (what was the line? "Black or red, a dragon is a dragon"?) But support Cersei against Dany on the show?

I know the whole Blackfyre history is absent but still, I could see the GC leaning toward a Targ after this much time and Robert's Revolution.

Or is the GC gonna be Varys's ace in the hole, as he had that base covered before even sailing for Westeros...

And how does the Iron Bank NOT see the war from Jamie's POV, in that Dany will curbstomp Cersei's arse in every universe?
Was the promise of credit just a rouse to settle the crown's
Account?
...or has Varys covered that, too, and the GC is either gonna turn cloak or not show?

Dany is supposed (doesn't make sense) to have 100K Dorthraki. The 40K was just Khal Drogo's numbers but Dany has all the Dorthraki from Essos.

I mean frick now we're talking 130 something thousand, why is anyone even worried at this point lol. Jk but still. Yeah I don't see the GC just showing up and fighting for CL, something is going to happen with that.

She just paid off their debt. Basically her credit rating is much better than Danys

Considering her pending obliteration, that credit rating HAD to be a lure.

The IB didn't get that old by being stupid.

What happens if cersei marries euron greyjoy
No chance she takes his name.
Does he become king and trump her?
Or is he the first man?

Or if they were to have a kid together to make an heir. Is the kids name Lannister?

No way cersei gives up legacy of Lannister name on iron throne.

Same with dany if she took iron throne and married a non Jon snow

You make some good points about the Gold Company.

The complicating factor is they are reputed to have never broken a contract. Of course, since this is tv, that fact could be used to create some dramatic tension of will they or won't they when it becomes clear that sticking with Cersei is insane in the face of the NK and his army.

I'm just wondering if they are planning to cast a significant or at least speaking role for a Gold Company leader or two and if so, who will they be. And will they show the gold skull?
