Maybe, we'll never know. I have a hard time blaming him for running after Rickon, I would've done the same thing if it was any member of my family.

Benjen can't go past the wall, there's no time for him to explain all that.

I would have too, but I'm not a king or responsible for all of the people in the army. It was obviously bait and it put everyone else at risk trying to save Jon.

Anyone no big deal, just different perception.

Tyrion knows his sister is a lost cause but Jaime could maybe be turned.

But what if Jaime couldn't turn Cersei? Seriously, why does Tyrion have any faith that Cersei would do anything for him? What has Cersei ever sacrificed for Jaime? Really think about that? All the sacrifices have come from Jaime's end, not Cersei's. Jaime had to give up his birthright for Cersei. Jaime couldn't raise his children for Cersei. Jaime went to war for Cersei. Cersei takes Jaime for granted and has done nothing to show that she appreciates him save for her vagina.

The only reason Cersei appreciates Jaime is because when he's fricking her, she thinks she's fricking herself. It's all about feeding her own narcissism. Cersei would never do anything for anyone at the cost of herself. Not her father, not her brother/lover, and not her children. Cersei is utterly selfish and additionally insane. Tyrion shouldn't depend on Jaime at all for this because Jaime is truly incapable of convincing Cersei of something she herself may need to do that she is unwilling to do.

You give D&D a lot of shite but you must cast the blame on that impotent fat frick Martin. He's had a decade to finish this shite and we are still in the dark on the next book. D&D have done a great job with a shitty Martin outline.

I mean we all do, but D&D just aren't on the level of writers as he is. I mean Jaime turning up a half a mile down the shore? That river must have had one hell of a current that let him up to breathe within a minute and a half for Dany and her Dothraki to not take notice.

i guess heres my problem with this past episode. i really wanted to defend the idea about going north of the wall to catch a wight. i really do. hell, i think i did last week. but after watching it tonight for a second time i just cant. this whole episode was just one big macguffin and its kinda frustrating to watch because we never had any time to truly and reasonably justify their actions. this was an entertaining episode for many reasons, but just a frustrating one because shite happened in it just so it could happen without any real and earned justifications

also, i really have tried to be on board with the dany/jon ship but idk. i have problems with an inherently doomed ship that has kind of been rushed through. i dont hate because i enjoy the characters and emilia and kit do have some chemistry when jon isnt just grunting but it just feels pointless

plus how quickly everything moves now makes it even harder for stuff to get set up. Its cool to see so much happening so quickly with all the battles and all, but with so much stuff to finish there also has to be a decent bit of viewer fill in the blanks.

I agree that was lazy but they have done a solid job all around trying to untangle this GRRM mess. Could it be done better? Sure. But most are entertained so what of it?

After a rewatch there is no doubt that the Night King set it up to get a dragon to switch to his side.

Me watching that scene:

Oh shite, he's gonna kill Drogon

Wait, why's he trying to hit a flying Dragon when Drogon's right there?

Holy shite, NK has a canon

Why isn't Dany turning Drogon around and burning NK to ashes?

Jon's a retard. frick this shite

How did he know dragons were alive, and coming?

Just watched the episode, next week looks like tyrion will have enough anxiety for a while.

Bronn lives for another week. A personal victory for me.
