Fair point and most likely true. It was the heat of the moment and I just saw NK shoot an ICBM from his right arm. I wasn't thinking straight.

You knew it was coming, still sucks to see it happen. I just watched it for the first time on the most recent replay.
Unless they arm those scorpions with DG spears, and we get a lucky shot, I'm not sure if the other 2 will both survive.
I thought tormund was gone for a second. The hound has been comic relief in a way, glad he saved his arse.

You think maybe it has something to do with the fact GRRM has 5 or 6 years to craft, refine, and polish every word in his book while D&D have to put out a full season every year? If they could write as well as GRRM and still also produce 7 to 10 episodes all in a 12 month period without any suffering of quality it sure wouldn't say much for GRRM.

Fire only kills the wights. We've seen several times the NK walk through fire unharmed. We also saw a White Walker walk through fire at Hardhome.

Yeah, that was a rough moment. That final, "I'm going to die" scream gave me goosebumps.
I'm really glad he made it out alive.
