I read an interesting theory about Arya being stabbed. It was Jaqen wearing Arya's face that was stabbed by the waif because he still owed Arya a life from his three deaths pledge to her. When he asked her for the third name and she said his name, he never said no. So Jaqen will pay for her life with his life.

If that were true, she would have just stood there and taken it, rather than try to escape, and the scene with her booking passage to Westeros would have been pointless.

it definitely was not Arya
that much I am sure
that much I am sure

For all we know the booking the passage Arya isn't even the same one that got stabbed.

Question. Where were Yara and the Ironborn? Were they in Essos or some Dornish whorehouse? If they said I missed it.

To go along with the Jaqan life for Arya theory...In the scene where Arya is stabbed, her hair is noticeably different. She had tight buns in all season, now has her hair kind of pulled back and down like Jaqan.

BTW props to D&D for not showing some cloaked figure for the entire episode and revealing it to be the hound in the last minute of the show

quote:I am a huge Euron Greyjoy fan, and I hate how he's been portrayed this season. No mystique about him. No reputation. He's un-special. Just an a-hole. There's no way I'm giving you this one. Show me a Hodor who thinks Euron Greyjoy in the show is a great character/villain, and I'll show you a comatose Khal Drogo.

Well, look at Jon from an outsiders perspective. He starts off in the Night's Watch, betrays the order to join the Wildlings, gets back into the good graces of the Night's Watch, fights the Wildlings, kills the King Beyond the Wall, is elected Lord Commander by his peers, executes his only competition for the job, lets the Wildlings in regardless to get his own army, seemingly dies but somehow revived which allows him to leave the Watch, and finally has the heir to the North as his ally that he may have directly stolen from Ramsay. On top of that, Jon executes LF's right hand man who knows many of his dirty secrets and may have told Jon that LF was behind his father's death.
From LF's perspective, Jon is as good of a bullshitter as he is. He is a far more competent version of his father, which I'm sure frightens him. I think LF also perceives that Jon has stolen Sansa from him. LF's focus now is to get Robb's former empire united under him through Sansa, so Jon has to be eliminated.
Holy shite, now you are telling us what LF is thinking? There is 100 probability that LF knows less than half of this even happened, despite his little birds.

Jaquen paying with his life kinda makes sense, but then why did he surface and stagger off? If your goal is to die, just stay dead.

A big question I have is can NK see Bran at any time? Or does Bran have to be green seeing/warging in order for NK to figure out where he's at?

Just two episodes ago she made it a point to go to sleep with her back against a wall as to not be snuck up on.
LOL, yea, and now she's just wandering around on a bridge trusting harmless old ladies who definitely won't stab her

quote:Yeah, it's the same one. I agree that the actress will help her in some way. It's really the only place she has to go.
For all we know the booking the passage Arya isn't even the same one that got stabbed.
For a second, I thought the whole thing was just an act, meant to convince the waif that Arya was dead, and that the actress helped her do it. Maybe this is still teh case.
Anyway, though Jaquen never said no, Arya did agree to unname him, so he's not obligated to do anything.

Didn't want to take the chance of the waif finding out it was him and going off and killing Arya for realsies

My favorite Hodor exchange so far.

quote:They killed them for their wood.
Who are the people hound was with who got slaughtered?
quote:
They were essentially missionaries. Building a church or something similar. All peaceful, followers of the faith.
Who were they killed by?
quote:
Looked like Euron Greyjoy, but Im not sure. Could just be raiders. Now that I think about it, they did need wood so yea, Greyjoys.

True that died with him, but Slynt was an arrogant arse who bragged non-stop. It's honestly a stretch for LF that Slynt didn't brag about how they killed his father, so I think LF may assume Jon knows about this and may be an additional reason Sansa no longer trusts him.
Damn, are you just writing your own books now? This is some ridiculous stuff here.
