I'm really curious with the bringing back the brotherhood if we might actually see LSH, which I had pretty much written off in the show
but this kinda opens it up for her
the question that should be asked is why did they choose to kill THOSE people, and not even take the food and women. i think they were after the hound, and were told to kill him and everyone with him. easy to believe if someone who wants the hound dead were calling the shots

You don't read good. Remember the old, broken horn that was found with the dragonglass stash? Who has that horn, hmmm? Do you remember who Jon gave it to?

I did not read the book excerpt. But the wiki excerpt doesn't clarify if Sam has it or not.

Ok super fan, does the book explicitly say that Sam has the horn?
Posted on 6/6/16 at 4:34 pm to TigerFanInSouthland
Anyone thinks that Sam somehow meets up with the Hound with Heartsbane?

Pretty sure it says that he has a broken horn which Jon found in the cache. It could be The Horn, or just a horn which was a convenient way to store arrowheads.

Yes I'm not sure where but he makes it into a drinking horn if I'm not mistaken.

Ok so even if it was the HoW it wouldn't work.
Eta: Mance claimed to have found it. But Mellisandre burned it with him.

He "died" for her as Syrio Forel and he will "die" for her again.

If that were true, she would have just stood there and taken it, rather than try to escape, and the scene with her booking passage to Westeros would have been pointless.
I'm thinking the booking passage and all "Arya's" actions before the stabbing was to coax the waif into stabbing her at that place and time.
Either it was Arya's plan to get stabbed there and then make it back to some place where she has help waiting. Or it was Jaqen wanting to get stabbed there and then escaping to reveal his intentions to Arya before she dies.
It was definitely all an act, the question is by whom.

Holy shite, now you are telling us what LF is thinking? There is 100 probability that LF knows less than half of this even happened, despite his little birds.
He knew Sansa was there, and he was just like 10 miles from the Wall. I expect that LF is pretty well informed of what Jon has been up to, and especially kept tabs on him once he became Lord Commander. I just don't see LF not putting Ned Stark's bastard son in the equation when he has an army of his own. And now he's got Sansa, so I'm sure he's been gathering every last bit of information he can get on him.

Damn, are you just writing your own books now? This is some ridiculous stuff here.
I'm just saying that Slynt is a bragger who enjoys ridiculing everyone. I don't think LF would be surprised at all if Jon knew he had Slynt betray his father and goaded Joffrey into executing Ned.
It actually kind of made me wonder why LF himself didn't have Slynt killed the second Ned Stark's head came lopping off. He knew too much at that point and could no longer be of major service to him.

I mean, those weren't minor stabbings.
'Arya' gets shanked numerous times in the belly, head buts the waif, jumps in the water, swims away, and then walks away from wounds that would kill all of us.
I mean, Roose died from a single stab wound in like 10 seconds.

yes. it does.

In the book when they find the cache of dragon glass they find a horn that Jon gives to Sam because he says Sam likes old things "even worthless old things." The books keep giving small reminders that Sam has it. Not sure why they would keep mentioning it if it didn't have some importance. Just my opinion.

I don't disagree with the idea that George RR Martin has written Sam as a version of himself.

Sam has the horn, jackasses.
I personally hate the enchanted horns in the books, because it's corny.
So glad they haven't been talked about in the show
