Jon Snow and Sansa are teleporting all over the North, what is the NK doing? Is it really taking them that long to reach the wall? Jon was at Hardhome and came back and the white walkers are just taking their time? Just food for thought.

Finally watched it.
I thought it was a really good episode. Jaime in the Riverlands has so far lived up to the books. I like the added touch of him pimp slapping Black Walder, and I'm glad Bronn is back.
Yara continues to be a good character, but making her a lesbian, unlike in the books, is perhaps undermining the show's "strong women" message. Are they saying that only lesbians can be strong leaders and badass warriors? They couldn't make Brienne a lesbian (though appearance-wise, she's presented as such) because she eventually has to hook up with Jaime, so I guess Yara is the default pick to represent House Lesbian. I kinda thought they'd go that route when I saw her looking butcher than she did in earlier seasons.
I don't know what they're trying to pull with Arya getting gut stabbed, but in that equivalent time period, it would almost certainly mean a slow death for her. I suppose they intend for the audience to be in suspense over her possible death, but I don't think any of us actually believe they'd be stupid enough to kill off Arya, especially after all the time that has been put into grooming her character.
Lady Mormont is an instant classic. I hope they have her do more and I hope she lives, but the show has a hard on for killing children, so who knows?
It was driving me crazy trying to think of who she reminded me of. This is the very first acting credit for he actress, Bella Ramsay, but if we were still doing the Roscoes, I think she'd run away with "breakout performance of the year." Anyway, I finally figured it out. She's a little, female Draco Malfoy.

Yara is lesbian because she's supposed to represent everything Theon was going to become if he wasn't taken to Winterfell as a young boy. She's the real heir to the iron throne, by blood and by leadership. Balon basically had two sons and neither have a dick.

A big question I have is can NK see Bran at any time? Or does Bran have to be green seeing/warging in order for NK to figure out where he's at?

iron born are hedonists and she is their leader with them in a whorehouse.
I read an interesting theory about Arya being stabbed. It was Jaqen wearing Arya's face that was stabbed by the waif because he still owed Arya a life from his three deaths pledge to her. When he asked her for the third name and she said his name, he never said no. So Jaqen will pay for her life with his life.
Some of the stuff said here seems to line up with that theory

What about Sam and the Valerian sword? I feel that Sam is george rr martin's personification of himself and will play a more significant part that just the bumbling fat guy. Anyone else get the feeling that Sam will have some sort of heroic part in all this?
1. He steals baby meant for White Walkers?(Those babies special for some reason?)
2. He kills a White Walker?(Was it the dragon glass or was it Sam that was special?)
3. Family sword, only one of a few? (some Voltron type shite, only when all the swords come together do they wield some sort of power?)...I think the sword plays some factor(why mention/bring it?)
4. Family Name- what's his family's special powers? (Starks can Warg, Targareans can eat fire, Lannisters can always have money??...what's Sam's family known for?)

Jaime's only real regret in life is failing to protect Rhaegar's children from his father, so it would be a nice chance for redemption
I like this arc. I feel that any time Jaime's been in the kingsguard, he has been removed from duty because of controversy when in the end, he was acting in the best interests of the kingdom.
I just don't know how Jaime would find out about R+L=J in a meaningful way. By meaningful way, something profound enough to make him leave riverlands and head north with banners.
