I wonder if the Arya we saw stabbed was Jaqen in disguise, trying to buy her time to get away from the Waif or make the Waif think she killed her.
Could Jaqen really make himself shorter/smaller, though?
If so, that's straight up wizardry.

I would think is Jaquen wanted Arya to get away he would do it more elegantly than taking a shiv to the stomach multiple times. Arya hiring an innocent to get stabbed seems out of character given the whole Lady Crane thing.

Usurp what though? She's not WotN or LoW. She has no titles, hell, she doesn't even have a claim to the seat of Winterfell because Rickon and Bran are still alive.

She's pretty much the entire reason Bed was killed.
Ned's death doesn't fall on Sansa at all. Catelyn is mainly the reason Ned was killed. She took Tyrion on impulse without waiting for proof, sparking suspicion of the Starks and Jamie's rage and attack on Ned. Ned himself holds a bulk of responsibility for his own death. He flat out tells Cersei that he knows her children aren't Robert's. Stupid, stupid move. Then Joffrey decided to execute Ned in spite of everyone around him urging him to have Ned take the black.
Sansa isn't to blame at all.

I rewatched part of S1 and remembered how fricking stupid Catelyn and Lysa are with the whole Tyrion thing. frickers caused so many death because they didn't even halfway think about what LF told them.

I get that and that's why I edited and added Bran and Rickon in there.
But she has to realize the North probably ain't gonna follow a bastard into battle. Ned Stark's son or not. So unless she all of the sudden turns into Brienne or grows a penis she's gonna have a much harder time getting the full support of the North.
Eta: That and the whole Wildling thing.
Which leads me to my next point, the North has aligned with the Wildling army multiple times in the past. What's so hard for them to do it now?

I'm behind on the show by a few seasons, but does Sansa and Jon know about Robb legitimizing him and making him his heir to the North?
Posted on 6/6/16 at 10:57 am to TigerFanInSouthland
They've already got the Stark name behind them, and Jon being a bastard is the least of his problems when it comes to gaining support, namely the fact that he let thousands of Wildlings past the Wall and is leading an army of them after breaking his vows.

He was killed before he could legitimize him. And Jon was already a member of the NW. So it really wouldn't have mattered.

Surprised I haven't seen a screen shot of the letter Sansa was writing. I paused it on second watch and could make some of it out. The words "served" and "Winterfell" were clear. If I had to guess and knew nothing about the LF subplot I would say she was penning a letter to a Northern House.
If she is writing LF for his help then this is some pretty crappy writing. The GNC would have been a much, much better story. These sayings like "The North Remembers" are turning out to be complete BS. A thousand years of loyalty and a code of honor Northerners lived by thrown out the window in a few years. In the realm of this story what is happening on the show isn't believable.
My thought is that she is writing this (and probably other identical letters) to send to the rest of the northern houses claiming that they are all joining together in an attempt to get them all to fight. Since there is safety in numbers, the other houses may join up if they think the others are as well.

See my edit in my previous post about the Wildlings.
And to some wouldn't Sansa be a Bolton?

Also, only the king can legitimize someone. Sansa doesn't have that power.

wasn't it roose?
