If Arya was stupid enough to just wander around and get stabbed then she deserves to croak in Bravos IMO.

Sam the Slayer.

Just two episodes ago she made it a point to go to sleep with her back against a wall as to not be snuck up on.

My first thought was that Sansa was sending the letter to Ramsay. I was thinking she was going to turn herself in to buy Jon more time and maybe try to "play the game" herself and take out Ramsay. But LF makes much more sense, especially since she signs it Sansa Stark.

I'm going with Edd. He is a great swordsman and the current Lord Commander. He will play a big part in the fight against the WW and he was eyeing up Longclaw whenever Jon was getting back from the dead.

It sounds dumb, and I know it's unrealistic to think about Sam fighting on the front line with a named weapon, but at the same time I have trouble seeing him just giving it up to someone. One of the things that stood out in the books concerning Sam is that he spoke more than once specifically about losing out on inheriting Heartsbane. The ancestral sword of his family means something to him beyond just being some sword that can Others.

That's assuming Edd doesn't get killed by the Night King by the end of this season
.

It could happen. i figured he would give it up for the KW in the upcoming fight and still pursue being a maester.

Could Jaqen really make himself shorter/smaller, though?
If so, that's straight up wizardry.
yeah, it looks like you take their entire likeness, not just their face. From the scene Jaqen taking the Waif's face, he looks exactly like the waif, face and body, in the shot where you could see all three people.

I kind of want Tormund to wield it. He'd wreck shop with a two-handed Valyrian greatsword (although it didn't look much like a two-handed greatsword on the show).
It would be kind of lame is Sam all of a sudden becomes some sort of sword fighting badass.

It has been a while since I read the books, so please correct me if i'm wrong, but didnt Mance, or someone, have a horn that they could blow to bring down the wall?

They were searching for it but didn't find it iirc.
I think it was called the horn of winter. Or something of the sort.
I personally think the NK has it.

It turned out to be a bluff in the books. revealed later on that it wasn't the real Horn of Joramun.

She could be sending out Ravens thanking her bannermen for coming to House Stark's aid with the intent that the ravens be intercepted, thereby forcing them. Very un-Starklike, but I think it'd be a cool twist.

Then again, Sansa is very un-Stark like. House Stark is not very well known for high functioning retards.

Sansa is the least Stark of all the Stark's. I'm pretty sure she worshipped the New Gods. She always hated Winterfell and loves Southron traditions.
