I don't have the fandom or the hatred that most do for Ramsey as a character but there's not much for him to do until JOn is at his doorstep

I don't absolutely hate his scenes, I just don't think there is much to do there narrative-wise. More scenes would just be him gratuitously torturing/murdering people (Rickon).
No clue how fatass Sam with a newborn is going to escape from his father's whole damn army:

I'm still trying to figure out why Randall is such an experienced wildling fighter and hater if he lives so far south.
And since the show combines characters and situations, and I bet they're dying to do the "highborn ladies forced to serve Euron and his men in their own house while naked" scene, I wonder if Sam's mother and sister will fill that role once Euron instantly gets his thousand ships and sails south to raid the reach.
Also, it looks like Walder has already remarried, so maybe a wedding revenge won't happen. I'm okay with it. It would be too corny if that were to happen.

She's the only character that seems to have a scene is almost every episode, no matter how little of importance it is. Everyone else can be put on Ice for an episode or two even Jon frickinh snow, but she has to show her face even if it's just to shoot the shite with some dorthraki. Which is arse backwards because she could probably improve the story by ignoring her storyline for a year until it's time to move it like they did with Bran

It's still completely uninteresting since her story has been stuck in neutral for years. The big roaring speech to the crowd bit is over done with her. Stop showing me her saying she's going to westeros, actually do it, and until then put her in the Bran box they put him in for season 5

Same strategy as he used in the watch-- hope to lay low until his one real friend saves his arse (good call buying low on the Jon Snow stock Samwell- 2nd youngest Lord Commander and then Messiah).

Just watched.
It was a very good setup episode. I was hoping we'd get a little more. That was what 49 minutes?
The scene with Dany was fine until she started speaking.
I liked the Horn Hill scene.
Cannot wait for Arya vs the Waif, Bastardbowl, and Cleganebowl in the last few episodes.
Any word on viewership numbers what with Memorial Day and all?

Agreed. Loved seeing Drogon's big arse but I could do without another Dany speech. She needs to add Queen of Monologues to her title.
Everything else was great. Coldhands Benjen is legit, they're definitely setting up the potential for LSH with all of those storylines converging, the Bran flashes/visions were fantastic, and I cannot wait to see Arya frick up the Waif (I almost cried when she went and got Needle).
Very solid mid-season episode.

The point of the dany scene was to show us she has figured out how to wrangle her dragon plus prove the dothraki are down for whatever she wants to do. I liked her scene a lot.

This. Instead of a handful of Bloodriders, she had hundreds of them, and those were like the "lieutenants" of the Dothraki horde. She has control of a HUGE calvary then she has a huge Infantry at Meereen, combined with a Large Navy and dragons and she would be able to wipe out any Westeros army.
I cannot wait for that. People hate on her, but the endgame of the show is her taking Westeros, book that.
