Yeah, that was a bit strange, and seemed to come out of nowhere.

I assume so? I hope they will switch back shortly.
Him getting pissed at Jaime was fricking hilarious.

He was never called Robert strong in the show.

As to whether I will watch the show next week, I can't say but I won't be posting in this thread.
I hope you hold to your word Uncle B.

The sword fighting was a thing of beauty.
For real. People are saying they turned Dayne into Darth Maul, but the fighting was excellently choreographed. There weren't any unnecessary blade twirls as the ones at the beginning of the 4-on-1 fight were done to distract his opponents. Then, Dayne purposefully moves the group to keep everyone within 180 degrees, which is the most fundamental tactic when facing multiple opponents. Also, his two-bladed defenses and attacks were almost perfectly timed as to block/attack realistically and not magical "let me put the blade behind my back and block a shot I could not have known was coming" or "throw this blade 230 degrees and chop off a head." Dayne magnificently isolated opponents one by one until there was only 1 remaining. Just didn't account for that sneak cranogman.

I don't believe so, I could be wrong though.
ETA: I just rewatched the intro of him and they don't mention him by name when he is first shown. He is just called, "the newest member of the kings guard".

See Robert Strong is a nice little touch/bit of humor from the books. I wish they would switch to that name... Especially if that thing really has Joffrey's head.

Ed Skrein was such a better Daario Naharis than the guy they replaced him with once he left the show

Everyone if giving poor ole Howland a hard time, but it wasn't like Ned's crew set out to have a fair fight. It was freaking 7 on 2 (7 on 3 in the books). It was never intended to be a fair fight. Howland was just better at it than Ned and the rest of his crew.

I could have sworn he did as well but I just watched it on youtube and he never refers to him by name.

Where does this theory come from? Is it just because the eyes are similar to Joffrey's when he dies on the show or is it something from the books?

IF this is a hidden GNC for the show, will the miserable folks in here eat crow about it? Or will they still be mad because the show didn't telegraph that move and make it super obvious?
Can we just stop with the "miserable poster" bullshite? Just because someone doesn't like a given scene doesn't make them miserable. Do you want this to just be a circle jerk where we just repeat how awesome the show is, or actually have some discussion?
Go to the Crackpot thread to see how we've done it in the past. No need for personal insults between ourselves here. Let's not devolve into the Poliboard or SJWs.

I never had an inkling of this from the books. Maybe it's the eyes and the fact that what little of his face you can see is purple/blue?

I took from that that he and the mountain were both poisoned and that's what made the eyes similar.
