I'm also sure it's because his face looks purple as well. Joffrey was purple after the PW.

You think D&D intentionally made ollie a little bitch on the show or is that just how the actor played it out? He was a sympathetic character in the books imo

I think many will still have a problem with the Umbers willingly handing over Rickon. Everyone in the north knows how crazy Ramsay is. For all they know, Ramsay could have killed or tortured Rickon on sight.
They can't risk a fake rickon because there may be some locals or reek around that would rat them out.
Rickon balls might have dropped and volunteered. Dudes been thru hell so maybe he has grown up fast.

That would be one of the best moments in the series.

IF this is a hidden GNC for the show, will the miserable folks in here eat crow about it? Or will they still be mad because the show didn't telegraph that move and make it super obvious?
People here will be mad if Ramsay sends Jon a letter and it isn't the right shade of pink.

The acting and casting of the young actors Arya, Joffrey, and Ollie has been incredible.
Hard to cast young actors but those three have been great.

good lord could you imagine if (when) sandor defeats the newest member of the kingsguard and his helmet is removed, for all of KL to see Joffreys head?
Isn't it more likely to be that dwarf's head? Or perhaps they sent the dwarf's head to dorne, since those seem to be oddly proportioned sometimes?

Well, it's got to be someone's head considering The Mountain's head was sent to Dorne, so whose head would be better than Joffrey's.

Just relistened to the Tower of Joy on YouTube. Wow. That sequence never fails to blow me away.
I didn't hate the show's version of it or anything, but damn, why not let him use Dawn? Why not make it 7 vs 3? Why not keep most of the original dialogue intact?
There just wasn't much reason to tinker with that scene. The choreography was incredible and the observations from Bran and the three-eyed raven were interesting, but I can't help but feel like they gave us watered down blue-balls instead of delivering an all-time great scene.
Is it nitpicky of me? Sure, but iconic moments in great stories are going to be analyzed. There are people who have been waiting 20 years to see that scene come to life, and it just didn't quite hit the mark.

Maybe they wanted to show that Ned's dream was not the way it actually went down. I know they wanted to point out that the legend of Ned vs Dayne was not actually what went down.

he did use Dawn
that damn thing is planted in the ground and still comes up to Ser Arthur Dayne's shoulders

It's a guess. Mostly from the crackpot theory that the Valonquar can be male or female.
quote:
Chapter Title: The Valonqar
He passes into the inner chamber of the Sept and finds Cercei slumped over the body of King Tommen. Her grief and anguish echoes off the arched stone walls. She turns at the sound of his footsteps and gazes upon him with eyes wet with torment. Her expression quickly changes to hatred.
"You! It was you!," screams Cercei. "You will pay for the death of my three children, Tyrion. By the seven I swear it!"
The Valonqar was on her as soon as the words left her mouth; faster than Cercei could ever expect the small, stunted imp to move. His hands were immediately around her pale, white throat choking the life from her.
"Consider this a gift from the Starks," the Valonqar purred in a voice much too high in pitch to belong to the dwarf she knew so well.
It's HAPPENING!

I think people are upset that Dawn did not look like a fricking white light saber. I'm in agreement and ok with dawn the way it is. Fwiw I do believe the sword will still be in important Ned picked that sword up and slew Dayne with it. He also carried the sword with him.

Can we all at least agree that whomever choreographed that fight scene should be the head bitch in charge when it comes to small scale fight scenes?
And send them to Dorne. Stat.
