That was a thing of beauty.

But he knows how much bigger than a regular wolf they are. I just think most northerners would know a direwolf from a regular wolf.

I haven't read the WoW chapter, but I'd be interested in seeing what brings her to Westeros. I'm assuming it'll be a "job", but I'm curious as to who that "job" will be.

One thing I absolutely loved about last night's episode was when Cersei, Jamie, and Frankenmountain tried to waltz into the small council meeting, but basically got bitch slapped by them. Olenna reminding Cersei that Margaery was queen, and not her was priceless. And the look on Cersei's and Jamie's face when Kevan told them they didn't have to sit there, and they all got up an left was pretty satisfying.

I don't think Ramsey is as bright as he thinks he is. Which is why killing Roose doomed him, Roose would be more weary of this while thing Ramsey is cocky enough to think the north is gung-ho about the Boltons ruling

I actually enjoyed TOJ scene. Importantly, in the books the scene is in a dream and it is doubtful that the dialogue in a dream would match exactly to what was really said. In the show, Bran and TER were watching the events as they actually happened; thus the dialogue would be less whimsical and more realistic.

"Where is my sister?" This is really not a stupid line as so many are stating. For one, they rode up to two fricking towers, so he easily could have been asking about that. Also, how is he supposed to know that his sister is still in the towers? Perhaps they saw the group riding towards them and they sent her off. Most importantly, show-watchers definitely needed more information considering they jumped right into the scene without any method of calling out the context (e.g. date, location, reason).

In the TOJ dream, I think the book dialogue worked perfectly, but the way the scene was portrayed in the show made necessary the changes in the dialogue. Anyone who thought the scene would be identical to the books has not learned anything after watching 5+ seasons of this interpretation of the story.

"Oh, aye. Six-and-ten for him, and three for you. Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds, she said. And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you."

But one thing we need to keep in mind is that the show hasn't made the direwolves near as big as they are in the books. In the books the are around 6 feet tall at the shoulder, but on the show they just look to be big wolves.

But with that said, I'd still be kind of shocked if Ramsay didn't know the difference.

He's definitely too cocksure to survive killing Roose. He has his impulses. But he also has enough savvy to keep it going for a short time.

Is this just a guess? Or is it implied/stated in the chapter?

I like how bookreaders always say the book is better than the film, TV Show, etc. (I've done it with The Count of Monte Cristo, Psycho, No Country for Old Men, American Psycho....so on and so on)

Then when the TV show or movie is worse than the book you get mad.

There is a reason the book is always better....you can eloquently describe a situation in a way that cannot be done in live action.

You people need to chill.

Imagine if Dayne pulled out his sword and it glowed...you idiots would be mad that it looked too campy or some shite.

There's no pleasing you.

It's a guess. Mostly from the crackpot theory that the Valonquar can be male or female.

This is only due to budgets, cgi, and the fact they had to use dogs in the first season(I think).

Yeah a northerner would know a direwolf from a regular wolf. Which makes me think it really was Shaggydog

This argument gets thrown around a lot and is fricking stupid, A lot on this show has pleased me, even divergences from the books. That doesn't mean when something doesn't please me, I shouldn't be able to say so on a damn message board

you said the entire show "fricking sucks now" because you got mad at the TOJ scene

which is fine...you are entitled to your opinion

but don't back down now and claim that you were only bashing specific scenes

I enjoyed the scene as well. The sword fighting was a thing of beauty. I just posted that because everyone was whining about it and that just because it has the right dialogue doesn't make it a good scene. I am a little upset they left out "Woe to the usurper if we had been!" I fricking love that line.

I do think it sucks now but not because of one single scene. I'm still capable of having a discussion about it though without railing on it, especially since I'm over last night's episode.

If every post I made was trying to convince others the show sucks, I would hate me too but I'm not doing that
